Expert Analysis
Steve Quattrocchi | Prep Hoops Scout
A big wing shooter who ended his Senior season averaging 23 points and 7 rebounds per game with shooting splits of 58/41/84. Craig ended up with over 1500 points and over 500 rebounds despite missing his Junior season with a torn ACL. Committed to Pikeville, Walker should have a chance to make an impact there early in his career.

averages 2.5 three-pointers per game and is shooting an efficient 43.1% from deep, knocking down 62 of his 144 attempts. His size and wingspan make him a difficult matchup, and when combined with his shooting ability and athleticism, he becomes an even bigger problem for defenses. A proven shooter throughout his career, Craig excels in catch-and-shoot situations and is also comfortable pulling up off the dribble. His ability to move without the ball consistently helps him find open looks beyond the arc.

Craig is back after missing his entire Junior season after an ACL tear. Recently adding offers from the NAIA and D2 levels, Walker is a big time shooter. At 6’7, Walker knocked down 49% of his three point attempts in his Sophomore campaign. Don’t be shocked to see Walker as the leading scorer in the region and a top 20 scorer in Kentucky this season.

Just cleared to return from an ACL tear that cost him his Junior season, Craig is going to be a name to watch this summer as he gets back on the floor. If he can get back to the guy who shot 49% from three as a Sophomore, he’ll have colleges interested thanks to his 6’7 frame.

Walker drops a few spots due to a knee injury costing him his Junior season. If he’s able to get back to his old self, Craig is a diverse scorer who can shoot the lights out from three but has continued to improve at attacking off the bounce and getting to the rim.

Craig has great positional size at 6’7 and shot nearly 50% from three last season. He needs to get stronger and continue to add some bulk to his frame but Walker has really high potential thanks to his size and skill set. The first player on this list to not hold a scholarship offer, that is likely to change in the next calendar year.

Craig is one of the best shooters in the state and has great size at 6’7. Walker is playing up on the 17u level and should get more opportunity to play in front of coaches in July because of that. If the big wing can showcase his shooting and prove to be a capable defender across multiple positions, he could earn offers.

Craig has grown to legitimate 6’7 and shot 55/48/74 in high school this season. He’s got D1 stretch 4 or wing written all over him. Walker needs to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. He tends to pass up open shots in AAU but the ball never comes back to him for a better shot. If he can learn to ramp up his aggressiveness this AAU season, schools could start offering soon!

The best prospect in the class without a D1 offer yet, Craig is having a high level shooting season as a Sophomore and may be the best player in the 12th region as a Sophomore. Walker is averaging 21 points per game with shooting splits of 55/51/75. Shooting 51% from three is absurd. Especially when he’s averaging 6 and a half three point attempts per game.

Walker is a big time shooter who excels in catch and shoot situations but is continuing to improve and get more comfortable attacking the paint and getting to the rim. Craig can be a little tentative at times and once he figures out the right level of offensive aggressiveness, the 6’6 wing will have D1 schools showing up at Rockcastle County games.
