Going from Lexington Christian to George Rogers Clark, Spillman is now part of a talented and relatively young roster for the Cardinals. Sam will play on and off the ball for Coach Cook’s squad. It will be interesting to see how Spillman,

Spillman was relentless on the defensive end for LCA. He picked guys up full court which made it hard for Fleming to get into offense. It seemed like every turnover Fleming had he had a huge part in it whether he got the steal or the deflection. Spillman was the heartbeat for LCA yesterday as they got off to a slow start but he really set the tone from an energy stand point for them.

is the second Eagle on the this list, if that says anything about the next few years for Lexington Christian. Spillman played in 11 games last season, but look for the sophomore to be on the court more this season. Sam has a lot to like about his game. He’s a point guard that can see the whole floor and finds his open teammates immediately. He’s definitely someone you can trust to run your offense.

Spillman looks taller and stronger these days and could be a nominee for breakout candidate in the 11th region this season. Sam moves from 43rd to 27th in this update and is primed for a big Sophomore season for LCA. More of a facilitating PG than a scorer, Spillman can be a table setter for a veteran group at LCA.
