One of the most athletic players in central Ohio, Slade Jr had a monster dunk from a standstill position early in the season that showed off his incredible athletic pop. Northland has ran the Columbus city league over recent years and despite an early season loss to Centennial, the Vikings will still be a program to watch in the Columbus City League. Slade Jr still has plenty of room to grow but his athleticism and work ethic should allow him to continue to improve over the next few years and become one of the more impactful two-way wings.

I was impressed by Northland’s athleticism and defensive activity with a short-handed group. Slade Jr is an athletic wing who wants to play above the rim in transition. I thought Slade Jr was just active on both ends of the court, being near loose balls covering a lot of ground on the court. Slade Jr could be a breakout name in the Columbus City League from the class of 2028 this winter.
