One of the top shooters in Ohio’s 2028 class, Dunn was knocking down shots off the catch at a high level on Saturday morning as his Midwest Cincy MHC 16 U squad rolled to a win in the game I caught. A handful of Dunn’s 3-pointers were well behind the college 3-point line as he spaced the floor extremely well for his group. To end the first half Dunn had a soft touch bucket from the 10-12 foot range area on the court and also made a couple live dribble passes to teammates. Seeing Dunn expand his game and attack closeouts is exactly what the grassroots season is for as players want to continue to display their strengths while also working on new parts of their game that don’t get the opportunity to be shown during the winter.

One of the most talented wings in southwest Ohio, Dunn is set for a breakout sophomore season for a stacked Lakota West squad. I’ve noticed athletic improvements from Dunn even from the month of June as he’s playing above the rim and looking more confident as a finisher. His positional size and shooting ability gives him an easy role at the high school and college level but this athletic jump he’s making right now will raise his ceiling as well.

Another sharp shooting wing, Dunn looks like a potential breakout candidate for Lakota West this season, one of the top teams in Ohio. Dunn has positional size, shoots a clean ball, plays with confidence and still has room to develop physically as he matures. College teams are always looking for 3-and-D wings and Dunn has the potential to do both of those things at a high level. Key name to know in Cincinnati’s 2028 class.

Lakota West is one of the top teams in Ohio and Dunn has done a nice job fitting into their lineup this summer as a wing who can flat out shoot the basketball. Floor spacing is so crucial in basketball and Dunn forces the defense to take note of where he is off the ball and Dunn has been confidently catching and shooting the basketball this summer. Once Dunn adds some strength over the summer and fall and gets more comfortable in Lakota West’s defensive system, he has the tools to become one of the best wings in southwest Ohio.
