For a freshman at his size, Ivey-Jones has one of the more intriguing skillsets and physical profiles I saw at the entire showcase on Friday. The 6-foot-5 wing has ridiculously long arms and a super skinny frame, but he moves fluidly up and down the court. He skies for dunks but also uses his length for extend finishes, and he can even pass the ball a bit. His combination of size, length, and fluidity is rare for his age, and Ivey-Jones could be an awesome up-and-coming prospect for St. Andrews this season and moving forward.

Ivey-Jones, a wing out of the St. Andrew’s School in Rhode Island, has a physically advanced frame and elite athleticism for a prospect of his age. A big and skilled wing, he’s terrific on the offensive end of the floor where he gets to his spots off the bounce, elevates over defenders as a shooter, and finishes it in a variety of ways around the rim. As good as he is offensively, he might be even better on the defensive end of the floor, where his physical tools allow him to guard up and down a lineup and his instincts allow him to be a disruptive playmaker.

St. Andrew’s certainly won’t lack for talent on the perimeter this season, but Ivey-Jones has the size and skillset to crack into the rotation. At 6-foot-4, he is capable of guarding 1-3 and uses his long arms to create chaos on the defensive side of the ball. His best basketball lies well ahead of him, but don’t be surprised if he ends up surpassing some senior scholarship on the depth chart and having some real impact this season.
