Morrow is bafflingly intriguing as a long term prospect, but I don’t hear enough people around the New England basketball scene talking about the 6-foot-7 forward. The St. Andrew’s sophomore has excellent size and athleticism for his age, but he also has solid touch around the rim and showed some flashes of really nice moves in the paint. He has a good motor, he competes on both ends, and he clearly wants to rebound and do all the little things. Morrow is a high-potential guy to watch moving forward, but he should still play a meaningful role on a good St. Andrew’s team this season.

Morrow, a wing out of the St. Andrew’s School, checks in at #18 overall and #6 among the small forwards. Morrow is a 6’7″ forward with impressive fluidity that he uses to his advantage on the defensive end of the floor and also in transition. He can guard up and down a line-up, using his combination of size and mobility to his advantage, while also showing a good feel as a rim protector. Offensively, he does a nice job of attacking the rim off the bounce, is a plus off ball cutter, and has continued to develop the consistency of his perimeter jumper.

Morrow, a skilled scoring forward out of St. Andrew’s School in Rhode Island, joins the rankings as a member of the Watch List. A solid athlete, he can play with his back to the basket or as a face up forward on the perimeter. He’s at his best attacking the basketball, both off the bounce and as a cutter, and does a nice job of finishing with strength and creativity in the paint. He plays with a high motor, isn’t afraid to be physical on the defensive end of the floor, and can operate as a grab-and-go rebounder that initiates the break. His recruitment should take off once coaches get the chance to see him play with St. Andrew’s.
