He probably out-rebounded him on the glass and didn’t allow him to get the easy dunks/finishes that he normally gets in the paint. He does a really good job defending the pick-and-roll in drop coverage and has excellent hands and timing when it comes to plays near the hoop. For someone Sullivan’s size, it’s incredibly impressive that he was able to hang with Edema – it just proves that he truly can play the center/forward position at the next level. Sullivan plugs all the holes for Worcester. The 6-foot-8 big man is tough as nails and does all the things nobody else wants to do – defend, rebound, get 50/50 balls, and make multiple efforts. His length and athleticism allows him to be a really effective rim protector, and he’s a surprisingly good passer out of the short roll and post. He certainly isn’t the type of guy you dump the ball into and look for scoring, but he can keep the offense moving and knows his role. He’ll be a nice piece at Harvard next year, and some growth in his perimeter shooting would really take his game to the next level.

Sullivan showed that he doesn’t need to score the basketball at a high clip to make his presence felt in the game. He cleans the glass like windshield wipers and is always in the right spots. He is an assertive rim runner. Sullivan is very effective from inside of twelve feet on the offensive end. One of his underrated skillsets is his ability to pass the basketball. Sullivan had 12 rebounds and 7 points versus OSL Prep.
