Very few guards in New Jersey’s 2026 class delivered as many consistently strong individual performances against top tier in state competition as St. Peter’s’ lead guard did over the course of his senior season. A seasoned, high octane floor general who plays with an edge,

was the driving force behind St. Peter’s Prep capturing their fourth straight HCIT championship along with another appearance in the NJSIAA Non-Public A state final—due in large part to him consistently effectively dictating the tempo and demonstrating a firm command of the offense. Having done an excellent job of balancing scoring with playmaking all season long, creating his own opportunities while also making a concerted effort to get teammates the ball in the right spots to be successful, the Rider commit showed a strong feel for the game operating within the heavy dose of PnR actions St. Peter’s seemed to rely on as the backbone of their offense. Rosa’s ability to excel as a reliable offensive initiator should set him for success and serve him well in the MAAC next season at Rider.

Going out with a spirited effort in his last high school game, Rosa served consistently as the heartbeat for the Marauders on both ends of the floor. The Rider commit came out aggressive, putting a ton of pressure on the rim, particularly in transition. He was effective taking calculated risks with his handle to get to advantageous spots on the floor and make plays, shifting into more of a playmaking mode in the second half. Rosa controlled the pace of the game like a veteran and showed he could keep things honest from the perimeter with a pair of smooth 3’s. His ability to thrive as a pure floor general should prove to be helpful at Rider.

Things looked dicey for the Marauders early on after Rosa, their senior leader and a four-year starter, picked up his second foul as they struggled to generate any momentum offensively. The Rider commit was finally reinserted late in the second quarter and immediately provided a steadying presence with his ballhandling, decisionmaking, and ability to get downhill off the dribble. Rosa scored 10 timely points, providing a key two-way spark in a game that lacked much offensive flow. He captures his second sectional title after playing a key role as a freshman for a Marauders team that would go on to lose in the state championship game.
