St. Peter’s relied heavily on a lot of their PnR action and Rosa displayed what his decision making ability looks against different PnR coverages and defensive rotations— attacking driving angles for tough finishes in the lane while also flashing his mid range shot making ability. Managing the game and finding his teammates in the right spots, Rosa also flashed his instinctual passing feel— finding open teammates against TPS’s different PnR coverages and rotations while also finding guys who were ahead of the defense in transition.

Having made a conscious effort to get his teammates the ball in the right spots coupled with his sound court vision, Rosa made a number of sharp reads and precise passes to create clean scoring chances for his teammates. A habitual paint toucher, Rosa showed strong court awareness and feel for the game in the half court by getting into the paint and locating cutters on the move and finding open shooters out on the perimeter.

Often times taking what the defense gave him and making a lot of the right reads, Rosa also impressed not only with how he was able to manipulate ball screens with pace in the half court but also attacking driving lanes to get in the paint and hit guys in the dunker spot.
