Another somewhat unheralded piece of the Marauders’ lineup, Gomez flourished in his role off the bench in a narrow loss to Patrick School. The well-built hybrid forward brings a smooth plug-and-play skillset as a confident and dynamic floor-spacer off the catch, knocking down multiple quick-release corner 3s on Saturday to help swing momentum. He offers a blend of physicality, quickness, and motor that make him an effective and versatile piece on the other end as well. Young for his grade and having previously split his focus with football, Gomez could be a sneaky add for a scholarship-level program that values his shooting and athletic tools.

was extremely effective off the ball for St. Peter’s. Not only was Gomez able to space the floor and knock down a few open catch and shoot threes but he also excelled as a cutter, constantly moving well without the ball and cutting to open space. Gomez finished the game with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the Marauders.

Gomez is a very talented player at 6’5″ that can do almost everything for his team. He can put the ball on the floor and can use his tight handles to get by smaller players guarding him on the perimeter. Gomez can turn into that hybrid role as he can dominate the inside and outside game. He can shoot three-pointers at a consistent rate and has a soft touch around the rim with both hands. When it comes to rebounding he will always look to crash the glass, especially against taller players thinking they have an easy board until Gomez flies in out of nowhere.
