Bobby Lopez | Prep Hoops Scout
Anderson continues to turn heads with his combination of size, strength and activity around the rim. At 6’8” he’s a physical presence who dominates the glass on both ends and makes his impact felt as a reliable rim protector. He alters shots, deters drives and consistently controls the paint with his length and timing. Offensively he’s showing strong development and becoming comfortable catching and finishing in traffic, using soft hands and good footwork to convert inside. Also flashes a smooth, confident shooting touch that adds another layer to his game. Anderson’s interior dominance and growing skill set have him firmly on the rise and making a serious push into the rankings

Anderson had a late push in the summer to get on our radars, but is a player to know moving forward. Anderson is a 6’8 big man that demands attention and uses all of his size to get to where he wants on the floor. He was having to be double-teamed in the games that we saw him in as he is much bigger than opposing bigs up against him. He runs the floor well and keeps the ball high to rebound and score in traffic. I am excited to see the type of year that he has, but with all of the eyes that are on him right now he should take advantage as we feel he could come in and dominate as a big man to keep tabs on all year. This is a great opportunity to see him before the season begins.

Anderson looked like a man amongst boys, and I mean that physically. At 6’7, he was a rebounding force and physical presence inside. He demanded double teams, kept the ball high, and finished through contact. I do think he’s a project as he showed post moves, soft touch on hooks, and altered shots at the rim. His size and strength were overwhelming for opposing teams at times. If he brings this level consistently in the high school season, Liberty’s ceiling gets a whole lot higher. Excited to see if he continues to grow.
