Waithe-Cunningham made a strong impact with his ability to consistently get inside and score. He attacked with purpose, using his handle to break down defenders and get into the paint. His comfort finishing with his left hand stood out, allowing him to convert tough looks and keep defenders guessing. He mixed in a smooth spin move that created separation and opened up scoring angles in traffic. With the ball in his hands, he played with confidence and control, showing good feel as he navigated through defenses. Waithe-Cunningham’s combination of handle, footwork and interior scoring made him a reliable offensive threat throughout the weekend

When you are talking potential, then look no further. A 6’6, long, athletic, and wiry CG that can play multiple positions makes you wonder what his ceiling looks like. Then look at his seasons. He’s averaged double digits in every single season and was a Day 1 starter. He has evolved from a pass-first combo guard to a balanced scorer who checks off boxes. He’s getting out in transition and pushing the pace, finishing through contact and reading where double teams are coming from. He’s also seeming to have the game come a bit easier for him, and that’s how he’s been able to keep putting these numbers. He’s going to hit the 1,000 points scored mark in the next couple of weeks. The team is also starting to build some chemistry and put it together, and he’s leading the way. He’s at 15.3 points a game and scoring in the ways he always has. Now it’s about turning those into wins and making a push at a state championship!

Cunningham is playing at the top of his game and proving why he’s one of the premier players in the area. At 6’6″ running the point, he creates constant matchup problems with his ability to score from the corner, attack the baseline and finish powerfully at the rim. His all around production is hard to ignore averaging 19 points, 8.5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals per game showing his impact everywhere on the floor. He rebounds, defends, elevates teammates and controls tempo, making him the engine and tone setter for Liberty right now

Cunningham made a jump in the rankings after an impressive summer showing his versatility and growth, specifically at the guard position. It looks like he came into the summer ready to prove himself at the guard spot and did just that. At 6’6, he attacks downhill, finishes above the rim, and can create or facilitate. His confidence, length, and improved decision-making stood out all summer as he proved he can lead a team. What I liked most about Cam is his willingness to compete. He went out to seemingly EVERY event this summer to show who he was. Now Liberty’s No. 1 option, Cunningham looks ready for a breakout year.

Cunningham was nearly impossible to stop at The Expo showcasing a complete offensive arsenal. He attacked the lane relentlessly, using his quick first step and strength to get downhill and finish with either hand. His spin move was a signature weapon, creating separation and leaving defenders scrambling. At the rim he showed excellent body control and touch, finishing through size and contact with ease. What makes Cunningham even more dangerous is his ability to step out and knock down shots consistently. Paired with his ability to bully his way inside, he created a mismatch on nearly every possession. At times he looked unguardable almost dictating the pace and scoring at will. Defensively his size and length made him a serious obstacle, as opponents struggled to get clean looks against him. With his versatility, poise and ability to break down defenses, Cunningham proved himself to be a constant two way threat and a player fully capable of taking over games

Cameron is firmly established as a consensus top-10 prospect in Colorado, and his upside continues to grow. With impressive length and a frame that still has room to develop, his physical tools make him a standout already — and his best basketball is likely still ahead of him. He consistently plays above the rim, finishing with power and athleticism, often throwing down dunks in traffic. Defensively, he’s a major disruptor. His instincts and length allow him to generate deflections and steals both on the ball and in passing lanes, while also protecting the rim with timing and authority. He’s excellent at cutting off driving angles and making life difficult for opposing ball handlers. Offensively, Cameron’s game is evolving at a steady pace. He’s added a consistent perimeter jumper to his arsenal and shows great touch finishing with either hand. His ability to change direction off the bounce and finish through contact makes him a dynamic scoring threat with significant long-term potential.

is a 6’6″ combo guard who averaged 16.5 PPG, 6.0 RPG, and 3.2 APG this season. He’s a skilled playmaker with size, he thrives in transition and can score from all levels. Despite his production, there’s growing curiosity around whether he’s a true Division I prospect or a product of the system and schedule. Colorado Live presents a key proving ground to silence the critics and make more believers. Going out of my way to watch Cameron this weekend.

When it rains it pours for Cunningham, putting up some lofty numbers in recent games. Bringing the frame and footwork to create space on mid-range pull-ups or fancy finishes around the basket, when rolling there are not many names who can stay with him for contests. As he continues to solidify himself as a facilitator to elevate the rest of Liberty’s roster, that program has about as much upside as any team in this metro.
