flexed his three-point poise at the Rocky Mountain Mayhem, creating space for himself and knocking down a wide variety of looks from the field. The 5’10 incoming junior looks poised and ready to showcase his skills throughout the summer. Collier is currently sitting as the #3-ranked point guard in his class with enormous upside to top the charts completely.

delivered an electrifying season for Denver East, proving he’s one of the premier young scorers in 6A. Averaging an impressive 21.0 points and 3.9 assists per game, Collier formed a lethal backcourt duo alongside Noah Adkins that powered the Angels’ high-powered offensive blueprint. Collier’s clinical shooting was on full display throughout the year. Scoring aside, Collier was a disruptive force on the perimeter, racking up 2 SPG and ranking 8th in the state for total three-pointers made. His ability to command the pace and convert creative playmaking into consistent production has made him a focal point of the Angels’ future.

is a part of a guard-centric East squad that’s been crushing it from beyond the perimeter. Alongside Noah Adkins, Collier’s team chemistry blends so well with the Angels’ eccentric offensive system, commanding the pace and converting creative playmaking into a monstrous stream of buckets. What separates Collier from other guards in his class is his elusivity and versatility in situational basketball. Regardless of what the numbers say on the scoreboard, Collier gives it his all, and he’s backed this up recently with his jaw-dropping 30-point outing against Regis Groff, not to mention shooting 100% from the FT line.

Collier exploded for 30 points while stuffing the stat sheet with 5 assists and 4 steals, delivering a complete, high impact performance. He wasn’t hesitant for a second and if he had space, he let it fly from deep and made the defense pay. His confidence stretches the floor and forces defenders to extend, opening driving lanes for himself and teammates. The five assists show he created opportunities and kept the offense flowing. On the defensive end his four steals sparked transition chances and shifted momentum. When Collier is scoring at all three levels and disrupting passing lanes, he becomes a tone setter who can carry his team in the tournament

Collier is putting up 20.3 points a game for Denver East as the No.2 option and makes up for one of the better backcourt duos in the state. He’s a microwave scorer who gets scorching hot; he can heat up at any time, and when he’s on, he’s on. We saw that a few times in January like in their win against Vista Peak, where he finished with 39 points, or 27 points against Northfield. The 3-ball has been the igniter for him, but he also uses a deceptively quick first step to get to the rim and finish as well as floaters. He averaged 19.5 for the month and comes in as a top-5 scorer in the class to begin February.

Collier is the kind of offensive punch Denver East will need if they want to make noise down the stretch. At 7–8, they need another closer, and Collier has proven he can be exactly that. Averaging 20.2 points and 3.9 assists, he carries a scoring load that defenses must game plan for every night. He’s been on a heater lately, topping 20 points in nine games and exploding for a season high 39, showing his ability to completely swing momentum. His shooting from deep stretches the floor and his confidence pulling up keeps defenders off balance. Add in his handle and shot creation, and Collier gives East a reliable go to option when games tighten and possessions matter most

I won’t lie, this is a bit tough to me because since he’s been back from his injury and with what we’ve seen from him at showcases as well as different events in the summer and Fall, he’s been one of the top guards that we’ve seen in the entire state. It was tough not including him in the top 7 players in the conference because he has been that to start the year. Collier is putting up 19.3 points a game and is coming off a monster game against Liberty in a close win where he delivered 29 points, including knocking down 6 3-pointers. He looks like the team’s go-to option, he shoots it from deep, and is the team’s top shooter, and is on a tear right now. He’s been off to a stellar start and is the top X-factor in the conference that can swing a game.

In one of the more anticipated matchups of the weekend against Eaglecrest, it was Collier who looked like the best player on the floor, period. The burst, the pace, the way he sets up teammates and then turns it on as a scorer is elite at times. He was letting it fly from deep, cooking off the dribble, and controlling tempo. East was down a major piece, and it did not matter. Watching him and Noah feed off each other was special. He’s poised for a breakout year, and I bet he has some monster scoring performances this season.

Collier made a tad bit of a jump on the rankings and goes into his sophomore season as one of the top guards in the class. The rise would’ve likely come sooner had he not been injured for the start of the summer but once he returned from injury, he proved to still be dangerous. Collier is a shifty guard with a quick release. He creates for himself off the dribble and once his feet are set, he’s a light out shooter. Collier found a groove as an explosive scorer on and off-ball to end the summer. He finishes in traffic, reads the PnR and also was a standout defensively who plays the passing lanes and turns those into scoring opportunities. He’ll have high expectations this upcoming season being the lead guard for Denver East but we certainly believe he’ll live up to those. He comes into the season as a Top-15 player in the class.

Collier came back from injury and looked sharp. He played with pace, blowing by defenders and scoring in bunches. His quick decision-making kept defenses guessing as he knocked down jumpers with confidence and attacked the rim. Collier’s ability to change gears and stretch defenses stood out, but he was also one of the quickest players with the ball in his hands and could not be contained in the open court, making him one of the day’s pleasant surprises. Solid outing from Collier.
