We haven’t seen too much of Jefferson early on but from what we have seen, he projects as a two-way standout who will make his mark as a defensive menace. He brings athleticism on the defensive end, competes through screens, and has the tools to guard multiple positions. Offensively, he fits as a spacer and connector who keeps the ball moving but also can get out in transition and finish. With the guards he has around him, his number should be called a ton the next few seasons and he will have to make the most of those opportunities. I expect some big games from him and for him to continue to rise.

Jefferson is a young prospect for East who is being productive as the game continues to slow down for him. He’s finding scoring pockets, running the floor and showing real feel in transition. His understanding of his role stands out as he’s rotating the ball, playing off the catch and handling when needed. With growing confidence and steady minutes, he’s positioning himself as an underclassman who will keep climbing and becoming a meaningful part of the rotation and we’ve seen flashes.
