+21 (#55 to #34)
Arnold, a guard out of Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire, rose 21 spots in this update and now sits at #34 overall. Arnold, a Marist commit, continues to expand his game on the offensive end of the floor, while shining defensively. He’s operating more with the ball in his hands, showing the ability to make good decisions as both a scorer and facilitator. He’s one of the better perimeter shooters in the region, but also has the ability to get downhill and be an efficient scorer around the rim. Defensively, he sits in a stance and makes life difficult for opposing ball-handlers in space.

The Marist commit scored in bunches Saturday. Making shots from all over the floor and in different areas. I think he is more of a combo guard because of his handles and scoring ability. He has the ability to run fast breaks or play off the ball. He can shoot in transtition or off the dribble. He is a tough bucket even after loosing some balance can score around the rim. This kid is a great get for Marist and will continue to be an impact player for the rest of the season and in college.

Arnold was one of the region’s biggest stock risers after an impressive summer with Crown Basketball. The Kimball Union prospect will head to Marist next year, but for now, profiles as one of the most solid and dependable combos around. He does a bit of everything on the offensive end of the floor, playing on or off the ball, making decisions out of ball screens, and knocking down shots at a high clip. He moves well without the basketball as a scorer and has the frame needed to play through contact off the bounce. He’s also a solid rebounder on the defensive end of the floor.

Arnold is a 6’3″ guard out of Kimball Union Academy. The 2026 prospect is a high level playmaker with impressive positional size and the ability to play on or off the basketball. He’s really rounded out his offensive game over the last year, showing three level scoring ability and terrific floor vision in the half-court. He’s a good athlete and decision maker that can really get out and make plays in transition. On the other end of the floor, he has terrific physical tools as a defender, showing quickness laterally and good instincts in passing lanes, making him a high level perimeter defender.

Arnold is a strong experienced guard who is an elder statesmen in the NEPSAC. He is a bit of a river rat on the attack and muscles defenders to different spots on the floor where he knows he can convert from. Arnold showed he can score the ball from deep. He has a good pulse of the game and can set others up for success. I like how he never gets sped up and has control of the game when the ball is in his hands. Arnold picked up two division one offers with his play and should see several other low major programs tracking him this weekend and into July.

Arnold is a heady combo-guard who has some really nice hesitation moves and a phenomenal off-hand when it comes to blowing by defenders. Once he gets into the paint, he has all of the shots you’re looking for from a guard; he can shoot the floater, he has solid touch with both hands off the glass, and he has a nice pull-up jumper. He can also shoot it from three, though he didn’t hit a high percentage when I saw him play this weekend. Once Arnold nails down his decision making in the paint, he’ll probably be a scholarship guard. Some more on-ball reps next season for Kimball Union Academy will be huge for him.

Arnold showed promise playing on or off the basketball. He did a good job moving without the ball in his hands. He scored from behind the arc. He scored out the foul line. He used his speed to jump passing lanes. He has a good blend of size and strength. Arnold has been really consistent with his play the few times I have seen him play this spring.

Arnold is a utility guard who does a little bit of everything with his play. He showed that he could score from an array of different spots on the floor. He was a threat from behind the arc. He has good size for the lead guard position. He did a nice job of seeing his surroundings on the floor and making plays for others. Arnold is a prospect who I think will see traction from division two schools.

Arnold was one of the only guys who could get anything going offensively for KUA in this matchup. Despite the intense defensive pressure from CATS, he found some success getting to his spots in the mid-range and fading away for jumpers. He has a really nice handle and good change of speed/change of direction, and then he elevates well on his jumper. He also made good decisions out of the pick-and-roll. In the second half, though, Arnold slowed down as a result of some tighter defense on him. Will be curious to see what his recruitment looks like next season.

Arnold compliments Williams quite well in the backcourt. Against NMH, he showed an excellent ability to attack second-side closeouts and finish at the hoop. However, I was even more impressed with his vision; he threw a handful of really high-level passes – both off the live-dribble and from the top of the key – that completely caught the defense off guard. He just has a really nice feel for angles and timing. The 6-foot-3 combo guard can also shoot it a little bit from outside and handles it very well, not to mention the fact that he’s a great rebounder for his size. He’s a nice all-around, two-way player.
