Scroggins, a senior forward out of Kimball Union in New Hampshire, has operated as a mismatch forward all winter long with his ability to make plays in the paint and from the perimeter. Scroggins, a 6’8″ lefty, does a great job of playing to his strengths on the offensive end of the floor. He takes advantage of mismatches to finish with his back to the basket around the rim, can knock down shots from the perimeter in catch and shoot situations, and is an instinctive cutter off the ball. Defensively, he plays with a nice combination of size, length, and feel, all of which allows him to guard a variety of positions on the floor. Scroggins will continue his career in the fall at Valparaiso University.

Scroggins, out of Kimball Union Academy in New Hampshire, checks in at #11 among the power forwards and #46 overall. Scroggins is a big lefty that can really shoot the basketball from behind the arc. He stretches the floor with his shooting, but also shows the ability to score in close to the basket, both as a straight line driver and also with his back to the basket. He’s a high IQ defender that reads angles well and also adds a dimension on the glass. He’ll continue his career in the fall at Valparaiso.

The southpaw has a knack for finding offensive putbacks. Scores effectively around the rim and for a high percentage. Elevates well above the rim for rebounds. Draws multiple fouls, stretches the floor. Very athletic will definetely be a Top 3 scorer on Kimball all year. A good player to help beat the press. His stock will continue to grow and receive more D1 interest for next year even for this Valpo commit. A high motor, athlete you must watch!

Scroggins is a big lefty who brings athleticism and scoring punch to Kimball Union’s offensive arsenal. The 6-foot-7 forward loves to face up in the post and has some really nice footwork and craft when it comes to maneuvering inside the paint. Though he’s a way better finisher with his southpaw, he makes it work and has solid touch in the lane. He’s also an excellent passer when the double team comes. Scroggins is committed to Valpo for next year and still has room for improvement on the perimeter as a shooter.

Scroggins makes his first appearance in the New England rankings at #50. The Kimball Union Academy forward is a long and lean 6’7″ that has the ability to score it in a variety of ways on the offensive end of the floor. A Valparaiso commit, he does a nice job of getting to his spots off the bounce and is a fluid athlete that can finish plays over defenders or through contact. On the other end, he covers a lot of ground with his length and uses his athleticism to his advantage as a rim protector.
