Expert Analysis

Bobby Lopez

Prep Hoops Scout

Vinyard is a player who has been on our radar for a while, dating back to what we saw from him a during multiple games over the summer. He showed the kind of all around game that makes you want to keep watching, with a good feel for controlling tempo, making shots, creating for others and keeping things moving offensively. There’s a lot to work with here and we think there’s another level he can reach as his game continues to develop. Now it’s about taking that next step, showing more of what he can become and establishing himself as a name to know moving forward

Prep Hoops Lead Scout

Vinyard is a player who we got familiar with earlier this Spring at the Centennial State Cup, and he was able to show an all-around game. He’s a player who controlled tempo, made shots, created for teammates, and kept the offense organized, which got him on the radar. Now comes another chance to create separation and prove that he’s a player to know moving forward. I think there’s another gear there, and I’d like to see him tap into it. Hope he gets out to the showcase to show the type of player he is.

Vinyard showcased a well rounded skill set, highlighted by his ability to control the offense and create scoring opportunities. He knocked down shots from beyond the arc with confidence, forcing defenses to respect his perimeter presence. Vinyard also contributed defensively, recording a blocked shot that quickly transitioned into offense, demonstrating his awareness and ability to shift momentum. As a primary ball handler, he displayed composure and vision, consistently finding open teammates and generating quality looks. His ability to balance scoring with playmaking made him a steady presence in the backcourt.
