Susi is a major component of Horizon’s success because of the unique physical tools and scoring versatility he brings to the floor. His length and strong frame make him a difficult matchup, allowing him to finish inside and score through contact. He stretches defenses with his ability to knock down the three, and when attacking the rim, he’s capable of big finishes and dunks. Susi’s size and athleticism create constant pressure on defenses, opening opportunities for teammates. His ability to score in multiple ways and use his frame effectively makes him a centerpiece of the offense and overall team identity

Susi, a skilled 6’5 forward who is working his way back from injury and looks close to returning to form. From what we saw from him this summer, that should be easy as he plays the right way, knows where to be on the floor, and battles on both ends. He overpowers smaller defenders, has good footwork with the bigger players, and also adds versatility. We’ve seen him blend in seamlessly with Horizon’s talented frontcourt, bringing size, touch, and playmaking. He shoots it well, rebounds hard, and sparks offense with his passing. Susi competes with toughness, and this season is his chance to reintroduce himself as a key piece.  He makes a 30-spot jump in the rankings.

Nate Susi Nate Susi 6'4" | CG Horizon | 2027 State CO is a true scorer who operates efficiently off the triple threat. Susi can rip hard off the dribble and make long strides to the hoop to score. Defensively, Susi is disciplined and does a great job reaching straight up to avoid foul calls. At 6’4, Susi is a guard who can stretch to the 3 or 4 position when needed. With a quick handle and a lethal jumpshot, Susi brings the intensity game in and game out.

Susi made his mark at The Expo with relentless effort on the boards especially on the offensive glass, where he created extra possessions for his team. Around the rim he finishes with control and touch, converting close looks and staying efficient in traffic. He also stretched the floor by stepping out and knocking down shots from three, showing confidence and range that make him a versatile threat. His ability to rebound, finish inside and hit from the perimeter gives him a well rounded offensive game. Combined with his energy and effort, Susi consistently finds ways to impact winning on both ends of the court

Susi is a skilled 6’5 athlete who shoots it well, rebounds well, and is an above-average passer that can get the offense going as well. He’s a hard worker who is working himself back into playing shape after an injury, but is showing that he’ll be able to get back to it. He’s a fierce competitor that we’re anxious to see if he’s able to pick up where he left off as Horizon can surely use him this year. He can come to reintroduce himself and show that he’s back.

Horizon had no shortage of size this season, and 6’4″ wing/forward Nate Susi Nate Susi 6'4" | CG Horizon | 2027 State CO quietly became a key piece. He’s an elite rebounder who battles for position, keeps possessions alive, and creates second-chance points with pure effort. Susi competes hard, jumps passing lanes, and brought real value to the team. Heading into next season, Horizon will look to him for more consistency, and based on his growth, there’s good reason to believe he’ll provide it. He was not ranked the last time around but jumps onto the rankings with his play.
