Wisne returns to Horizon after earning All State honorable mentions as a sophomore, averaging 14.8 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. A versatile forward, he can score from anywhere on the floor and has the ability to get hot from deep in a hurry, making him a constant matchup problem. Beyond scoring his playmaking ability stands out as he sees the floor well and consistently delivers quality passes to teammates. With his all around skill set and feel for the game, Wisne is poised for another standout season

Boaz showed the full arsenal this weekend, and what really stood out for me is how skilled he truly is. For a player with his size and stature, you do not expect him to move, handle the ball, and shoot the way that he was able to. The jumper was pure as he knocked down the most 3-pointers at the event. His decision-making also caught my eye. He ran point, initiated offense, and looked like a true playmaking forward. If this version of Boaz keeps showing up, Horizon’s duo becomes flat-out dangerous. I expect some huge games from him, but this is a group that is going to surprise! Boaz has it.

Wisne dominated as a multi-dimensional big man. He’s very strong, yet skilled as he punished defenders in the paint while stretching the floor with a confident three-point shot. He read the floor well, passed out of double teams, and attacked off the bounce. His touch, footwork, and feel stood out, and he consistently outplayed older competition. As an underclassman, his polish and versatility were rare, and he won the weekend’s big man matchup that we wanted to see with a monster double-double. Wisne is the real deal.

The thing that I noticed first about Wisne was that his frame was more developed than many other 2027’s. Then once the games started I saw him hit a 3-ball off the wing; what a sweet looking jumper. Then he hit another and that’s when I decided to take a seat because the more I watched the more I enjoyed this prospect’s game. He is always around the action because he works. I really like his potential to develop this summer as he heads into his junior year.

Wisne is one of those players who’ll make you stop and watch every time he shoots. His 3-point shot is deadly and probably one of the prettiest you’ll see go in. Offensively, his size and wingspan make it tough for defenders to contest his shots, and he can pretty much make anything he takes. He’s always on the move, creating space between him and his defender, which also helps his teammates find him for a good look. On defense – he’s all over his man, using quick hands to go for steals or deflections. What really sets Wisne apart is his transition game. He flies down the court, gets to his spot, and knocks down open shots like it’s nothing

There are not many names in this class who shoot the ball like Wisne off the catch, not to mention the wing is at 6’4+. Adept at hitting the open shot or knocking it down through the contest, the incoming sophomore will be primed for a larger role at Horizon. Among recent showcase events, Wisne displayed growth in his shot selection, leveraging his size and gravity to create driving lanes. Few opponents on the wing can stop him one on one, given his dependable handle versus closeouts and the notable strength at his age. Horizon will be a unique matchup, given their size and skill on the wings, set to bring a unique two-way impact compared to the other programs in the Granite Peaks league.

Boaz is an unselfish player who excels at setting up his teammates for success, whether in the post or on the perimeter. Despite his playmaking abilities, he can also take over games with his own scoring runs when needed.

Wisne’s steady perimeter shooting paired with the strong frame makes him an intriguing wing prospect, bringing in a dependable complementary game out of the gates. Often guarding up when necessary, the wing has made strides as an interior defender alongside being capable of solidifying 5-out lineups.

The perimeter shotmaker and strong wing has been fairly productive for Mountain Stars, providing the steady dose of off-ball offense. Assertive attempting perimeter shot attempts, Wisne is a legit floor spacer at roughly 6’5. His bulky frame makes him a capable small ball forward at the club level, alongside the offensive advantages that opens up for Mountain Stars’ array of perimeter playmakers.
