Sanchez is a player who has come onto our radar and his impact becomes more noticeable the more we see him. He consistently brings a hard nosed approach, playing with energy and physicality that helps set the tone for his team. Defensively he stays engaged and competes through contact and contributes in ways that help stabilize possessions. He works within the flow of the offense and capitalizes on opportunities, while keeping the ball moving to create better looks for others. His value shows up in the details such as effort plays, connectivity and decision making during key moments. As his game and production continue to evolve, Sanchez is a player we’ll keep tracking closely and one that firmly earns a spot on the watchlist moving forward

Sanchez is another player who plays with toughness. We saw him to begin Spring play, and he bought in defensively. He’s physical on both ends and imposed his will in the games that we watched. He’s a tough finisher around the basket, a relentless offensive glass cleaner that plays above his size and he creates extra opportunities off of hustle alone. What stands out for me is how he embraces contact and is trying to deliver that. That earns you minutes and can translate. We do want to see more of him and home to, but with what we’ve seen, he was an easy call on making the watch list. 

Sanchez was a player who stood out simply because he brought energy and balance to the team at times when they needed it most. He was doing the work that doesn’t always show up immediately in the box score but does keep the team afloat. He is a connector who defends and finds scoring opportunities by attacking at times. He keeps momentum going, he embraces physical play, and he impacts the game in multiple areas. He’s going to be a valuable piece to a winning team when it all comes together, and he was a player who helped Elevation Flyers get some wins.
