Donovan showed why he ranks among the best ’27 prospects in Wisconsin on Saturday, putting up a strong performance against Plymouth. At 6’7+ with a strong frame, Donovan certainly isn’t build like an ordinary sophomore, and he continues to improve in his mobility and skill. Davis was showcasing fluid athleticism with the ability to create his own shots off the dribble, hitting a few pull-up jumpers while also working his way to the basket for some strong finishes. Finishes above the rim with ease, and pulls down rebounds in bunches. We’ve seen with Team Herro that he’s willing to do the dirty work inside when needed, but with Freedom he has the ability to take a game over with his versatile scoring package.
Highlights
Kayden put on a scoring clinic against Freedom. Everyone on the floor knew he was looking to score, but defenders still couldn’t stop him as he was hitting shots at all three levels. Cut him off one way, and Kayden could spin and finish with the opposite hand at the rim. Play the drive and he’ll elevate to knock down a pull-up jumper. Kayden was knocking down shots from all over the floor with a hand right in his face, and was doing it with the comfort of someone shooting on their own in the gym. Coming off of a 19 ppg sophomore season at Plymouth.
Nathan has been putting together quite the spring/summer over the past few months. Against Tosa West he just took over in the second half, turning what was a close game into a very comfortable win. The lefty guard changes his pace well to get to the basket where he has good body control to finish in traffic. Caught fire from beyond the arc and a couple of times just dribbled up the floor and drained a three right in his defender’s face. perhaps most impressive was his defense though. He blocked a pair of jumpers, and locked down a 17 ppg scorer making every possession difficult. Has the ability to be a quality 3&D guy when surrounded by talent, but also has the athleticism and handle to take a game over on his own when needed.

Brennan Dempsey
Brennan had a solid showing helping lead his team past The Prairie School. At 6’5 he knows who he is as a player. Rather than trying to do too much out on the perimeter, he makes it a priority to get to the basket. Comfortable attacking off the dribble, Brennan can simply bully his way to the basket, or create separation to finish with a quick spin move at his size. Does a great job of using his strength to just pin defenders on his hip and power his way to the rim. Looks the part of a constant double-double threat for Fort Atkinson.
Fenderson was doing everything he could to try to keep Prairie in it against Fort Atkinson. He’s a power wing who excels at getting to the basket for high percentage looks. He possesses the handle and quickness to blow by bigger forwards off the dribble, but is too strong for most wings to handle around the rim. LaTrevion is extremely dangerous catching and facing up, where he utilizes hard jab-steps and shot fakes to get defenders leaning in one way before attacking the opposite direction. Big time rebounder who can pull in a defensive board and initiate the break on his own.
Highlights
Abraham was another standout from Appleton North’s win over Tosa West. He’s a strong and physical wing who plays a lot bigger than his 6’2 listed height. Tomori was contributing as a rebounder, versatile defender, and outside shooting threat. Appleton North has a well-rounded starting five, and Abraham did a great job of not forcing his game, and taking quality looks. Saw varsity minutes as a freshman and has steadily improved his production each year since.

. Against St. Augustine Prep he was doing it all, knocking down deep threes, getting to the rim for tough finishes, and setting up his teammates for high percentage looks. Drew never looks rushed no matter what you throw at him, and he just effortlessly glides by defenders to find pockets of space to score. I was really impressed with how he was setting up his teammates, showing great vision from the perimeter to zip in passes to cutters. Really like how he kept his eyes scanning the floor, connecting on some deep outlet passes to his teammates running the floor.
