PLAYERS TO WATCH
The Mustang Bronco was a double digit scorer as a first year varsity starter. This included a 35 point outburst in the playoffs against eventual Class 6A champions Edmond North. Miller is an outstanding shooter from beyond the arc, with a quickly developing mid-range and driving game. The lanky scoring guard has a great chance to be one of the next 2025 prospects in Oklahoma to earn a D1 offer, and a strong performance in Kansas City could jumpstart his recruitment.
Highlights
The athletic and active big man has flashed huge upside already this spring. The 2024 class in Oklahoma is well known for it’s depth of players in the 6 foot 7 range that are athletic and play above the rim, Wilson is another one of those prospects. When his motor is running, he has the ability to change the game on both ends of the court.
One of the most productive players in the state, Snow is a fantastic finisher at the rim for his size. He has fantastic body control, and understands how to use angles to get off shots when driving amongst the trees. While also being a sniper from beyond the arc. Along with his ability to scorer, he’s importantly a smart passer and quality facilitator.
After two outstanding seasons quarterbacking Crossings Christians to back to back Class 4A State Semifinal appearances, a pivotal national schedule at the 16U level awaits Furnish. Before a trip to Arizona next week, a test in KC awaits Furnish and his Team Griffin teammates. He has deep range on his jumper and has looked great in ball screen situations in Oklahoma, two traits that should serve the lead guard well against national competition.
With a great combination of quickness and ball handling, Padilla has shined so far this spring in the fast paced grassroots environment. Pairing with Casady guard Bryson Buckingham Bryson Buckingham 6’1″ | PG Casady | 2024 State OK , they have provided quality scoring and playmaking for the Wolfpack.
The Union Redhawk has had a strong start to the spring grassroots season as one of a handful of 2025 prospects playing up on I AM 3’s 17U program. A top tier tournament like the Platform will be a good test of the rising 2025 lead guard.
Highlights
The upside big man from Carl Albert is playing with Missouri program, Michael Porter Jr Elite. After a strong junior campaign, where his ease of movement, rebounding and shot blocking skills were often on display; Mott looks poised for a very productive spring and summer. His combination of size, athleticism and wingspan gives him one of the higher upsides in Oklahoma’s class of 2024.
Highlights
Another 2025 guard playing up, during two years of varsity play Brown has shined as an aggressive defender and a smooth scorer. He’s the type of athlete that seemingly glides with the ball in his hands, giving him the potential to be a big time finisher. A spring and summer with RSE elite against top flight regional competition could lead to a huge junior year breakout this winter.
