Illinois Freshman Showcase Final Thoughts: Standouts Per Position

With such a large number of prospects in the gym, I was not able to personally evaluate each and every player. While our PHI group collectively provides coverage across the entire event, the names below represent the top performers at each position from the prospects I personally analyzed. The following players are listed in no particular order and should not be viewed as a ranking. Please keep in mind that these prospects are members of the 2030 class and are only beginning their freshman seasons in high school of their careers. At this stage of their development, positions are far from set in stone and where a player fits today could look considerably different by this winter, next year, and by the time they are seniors.
