2029 Guard TJ Jamison Has NEXT and NOW at Whitney Young

One of the premier prospects in the 2029 class TJ Jamison TJ Jamison 6'4" | PG Whitney Young | 2029 State IL of Whitney Young was in the house at the recent Prep Hoops Sophomore ID Camp.  At 6'4” Jamison presents elite size for position as a combo guard early in the process.  Knows how to use his size and long strides getting to the rim for scores.  Feathery three point stroke with a very concise release.  He is able to see over the defense and make sound decisions as a distributor in both the half court as well as transition.  Plus defender being able to defend the one through three on the other team.  Rebounds well for his position.

What was he looking to do at the Sophomore ID Camp?

“Show that I can handle the ball and score at all three levels.  Show I can be a leader.  I was here last year and I proved that I could score.  This time I want to be a team player and pass the ball.”

Jamison spoke about his summer in a new role for Whitney Young as the go to guy.

“It was good.  We lost a couple of players, but we kept our heads high.  I feel we are going to have a good season coming up.  We have a lot of new players and are going to be good.”

How has he seen his game progress over the last year?

“Being able to handle the ball and attack the rim.  I was known more as a shooter, but now I can attack the rim more.”
