An active interior prospect with matured tangibles and physical tools. Baker consistently impacted the glass game with his length and wingspan towering over others. He times misses well off the glass and tallied for at least a handful of offensive rebounds and a multitude of others on the d end. He provides a lot of rim protection as a shot blocker and can finish underneath through contact at times. As his coordination and skill to finish continue to develop around the basket, there is quite a bit of up side to look forward to in the coming years. With his size already, rebounding activity, and defensive presence, it gives him an advantageous slate of features to work with only heading into freshman year.

Baker shined in multiple settings we saw him this summer with both Rockford Guilford and Team FVV.  Long and lanky 6’6” power forward that will need to add strength long term, but has a ton of projectability in his frame.  Super quick to the offensive glass converting second chance points in bunches.  Fluid athlete who gets up and down the floor with ease and displays nice footwork early in the process on his post moves.  Can also stretch it out to three with a clean looking three point shot.  Has the tools to be a monster on the defensive end as a back end rim protector with switchability.
