How he played at Colorado Live was legit one of the best performances at Colorado Live, and when you wanted to see how he'd look against a big and physical team, he lit them up. Collier had his best game we saw from him in that situation when he lit up the Showcase team from deep. He was shooting well beyond the arc, creating off the dribble coming off of screens, and finishing and showing why he's regarded as one of the best shooters in the state. He also looks very comfortable with the ball in his hands and got to his floater and layups throughout the event. He has been one of the biggest stock risers in the state over the last year, and right now, it's about separating himself. Solid summer for him and a very good Live event for him. I would've put him on the All-Tourney team had they had one.

What he's doing at that size is rare, and I hope people realize that. He's getting steals and out in transition, bringing the ball up the floor with his size, handles pressure, and can break a defender down off the dribble and look to try and finish it over or through a guy. Not to mention that he shot the 3-ball as well. Fedderson can score in bunches, and we saw that for Chatfield. Different games called for different things for him; he was shooting in some and scoring on the perimeter and also showed that he could change it up. Overland forced him to get inside and physical, and he adapted to that once things settled down nd showed he could score inside. What I liked was how he mixes it up with inside and out finishes, and converts with either hand. He has a face-up game and wanted to dominate at times, and in those moments when he decides to take over, is when he's at his best. We want to see more of that, as I truly believe he's better than what others realize. Now go prove it each time out.

When his shot is falling, that Horizon team is very tough to beat. He has such a smooth stroke when he's in a groove, and we want to see him hunt those shots when he's having a good game. Wisne had some baskets where he cut, straight line drive,s and with how they're set up, Horizon will need him to score. Wisne is running the offense as the lead guard a lot of times; they put the ball in his hands, and he makes the right passes, and that is a bit overlooked in his game. For Horizon at Live, he was standing out while he is out there and didn't float too much, which I feel is a skill. Wisne had games where he was getting downhill and hitting hook shots, which forced the double team. As much as I like him off the ball, I like him off of it, and he's shown he can mix it up and do a bit of both. This should be a big season for him where they rely on him as a scorer, and we've seen that he could do that at Live, now it's about consistently doing it.

Cam just has a knack for making plays and makes his presence known in every single game, and that was no different at Colorado Live. He checks off so many boxes and was able to score in various ways. He had catch-and-shoot buckets, scored off the dribble, and used his size to get to his mid-range shot as well. He also get to the FT line a ton, and that is a skill. This was a bit different for him as it was not so much on ball iso baskets, and that opens up his game to be able to score from different angles and not see so many double teams. He was getting to his mid-range shot and creating plenty of separation. There were transition buckets where he got downhill and finished with either hand, he had some dunks and shot the 3-ball as well. There still will have to be a balance of him showing off the off-ball work as well as becoming more of a playmaker to initiate the offense, but when he's patient, it slows down for him a bit, and we saw plenty of that throughout the event. He's one of the top players in the state, and he's able to show that off.

Montae pieced together a solid overall event as Cherry Creek's most reliable player at Colorado Live, and that work is why he was the team's leading scorer a year ago and there will be high expectations for him in his junior year. He was able to create for himself off the dribble, attack mismatches, and maneuver PnRs. The game is coming easier and easier for him. What stands out most for me and his biggest weapon is how much separation he creates on iso situations. Montae doesn't have to force too many shots, he gets rid of it quickly and gets it back, and now he's finding ways to get the same kind of production but not using so much energy to get it done. His teammates are starting to catch up to playing alongside him instead of just watching him go, and that has allowed him to settle down a bit more as well. He's consistently hitting the 3-ball right now, and with that, it'll be on him to find the balance of wanting to go score more and being aggressive, but also making sure everyone is involved. He's a natural scorer who gets hot in a hurry so we want to see him turn it up a bit more on both ends of the floor. He's very close to being a complete player, and that is scary for the rest of the state.

Noah is a player who just takes over and is such a high effort player that so productive that teams simply cannot stop him. He was the most impactful player on the floor in every single game as he has a high motor, is always moving, and simply can't be denied. Nah had stretched; he was just finishing in bunches. He had baseline baskets, grabbed boards, and went right back up and knocked down a few shots from outside, which really opened up the rest of the offense. He's the best rebounder in the state, and he gives his team advantages with extra opportunities. There were highlight dunks, he battled and won matchups against other talented bigs, and scored at ease. I did not look at the box score at Colorado Live, but I am sure that it would tell you that he was easily one of the best players at the event. Watch that matchup against Legend, who has a solid big man, if you want to see one of the best matchups of the event.

Lambert is on a tear right now and looks to be back to playing with joy. He can't be slowed down in the open court; he's got his explosion back and is taking matchups personally. Lambert finishes well through contact, had some fast break dunks, and showcased his two-way breakout capabilities. He really stood out in their game against Chatfield, where he showed off his high upside. He was getting steals, slowing guards down and not allowing them to score, and commanding the offense. When he makes up his mind to attack, there aren't many other players in the state that can flip a game like he can, and we saw that a few times at Colorado Live, where he finished in double figures and led the team.

It's easy to move on to the next event during the summer, but Colorado Live gave us a few performances that were worth circling back to. These are all some of the top prospects in the state and they delivered and showed exactly why they're highly regarded as some of the state's best.
