The countdown to the Sophomore ID Camp is officially on. Throughout the week we'll be highlighting players who have already shown tremendous potential and others we're excited to see compete on Saturday. This event gives rising sophomores the opportunity to showcase their skills, make a name for themselves and prove they belong among the state's top young talent. With so many intriguing prospects expected to be in attendance, the stage is set for a weekend full of breakout performances and rising stars. Lock in now!    Spann is a player we'd be excited to see at the Sophomore ID Camp after a breakout summer with Mountain Stars. He earned valuable varsity minutes last season and has clearly taken another step in his development. He's stronger, attacks the rim with confidence and has become much more effective at breaking defenders down off the dribble. His vision as a playmaker and improved shot selection were major positives all summer. We're looking forward to seeing him put it all together against some of the state's top sophomore talent     Whiteside is another player we eagerly want to see at the Sophomore ID Camp after an impressive summer with Tru Colorado. After earning varsity minutes as a freshman, he continued to elevate his game throughout the club season. He caught our attention with his ability to score in bunches, using a deceptive first step to consistently get by defenders and create offense. Just as impressive was his willingness to involve teammates and make the right play. We're excited to see how he performs against another talented group of sophomores     White is one of the newer names on our radar, showing out at the Sophomore ID Camp would be the perfect opportunity to see him in person. The buzz around his game is well deserved, as he processes the floor quickly and consistently makes smart decisions with the ball. He's a decisive scorer who doesn't hesitate when opportunities present themselves, allowing him to keep defenses on their heels. We're excited to get a closer look at his overall game and see how he holds his own against some of the best sophomore talent     Pruitt made a name for himself last season with his relentless defense, physicality and an ability to hound and force turnovers on opposing guards. He consistently brought energy and pressure on every possession, earning valuable varsity minutes. What excites us most heading into the Sophomore ID Camp is the growth of his offensive game. We have seen that he has begun to show flashes of becoming a much more complete player, attacking with confidence, making better decisions and proving he can impact the game on both ends of the floor     Brenzikofer is a player we have seen a little of to know we want another look against some of the state's top competition. He's a dangerous shooter who can catch fire from beyond the arc and quickly change the momentum of a game. We really love the way he stays active every possession, making smart cuts without the ball and creating spacing that opens opportunities for both himself and his teammates. We would be really excited to see him come out and show how his skill set translates at the Sophomore ID Camp     Leasure played with toughness and relentless energy all summer for Grit, making an impact every time he stepped on the floor. He thrives attacking downhill, using his quick first step to get to the rim and put pressure on defenses. What shines about his game is the communication and leadership displayed on the court. He's constantly talking, keeping teammates engaged and showing a high basketball IQ. He's also extremely coachable, quickly picking up adjustments and applying them in game situations, making him a player we'd be excited to see at the Sophomore ID Camp     Stevenson is a player we only saw once this summer, but that was all it took to put him firmly on our radar. He was exceptional with the ball in his hands, showing the ability to control the game with poise and confidence. A smart, dynamic guard he attacks off the dribble with quick bursts that allow him to get downhill and create offense. He also has a smooth, confident shooting stroke that makes him a threat from the perimeter. We would be thrilled to get another look at him at the Sophomore ID Camp
