White continues to climb, and the more we watch him, the more I am sure he has a breakout season. It’s getting harder not to think long-term with his upside. We’ve seen him for the Spring, and everything offensively seems to flow through him naturally. White manipulates pace, sees actions before they fully develop, and consistently creates advantages for himself and teammates. The creativity around the rim, the shot-making, the balance as a scorer, and ways to make plays as a facilitator all stand out. There’s still another level physically and developmentally for him to reach, and I think he will continue to do that, but when it all comes together, watch out. I am very high on him right now. He makes a debut in the rankings, and the intrigue is getting higher.

This is our second time writing about him in the last month, but that is because he truly does pop for me, and in a “I think he could be conference POY by senior year” category. He truly does intrigue me with his versatility and ability to affect the game with his play. He’s the engine for that Colorado Titans squad and makes something happen almost every time that he touches the ball. He had low drop layups, creative finishers around the basket, and showcased himself as a knockdown shooter as well. He was setting up plays on the offensive end by the time that he reached half-court, which shows that he sees the plays before they happen. He has solid court awareness, made the right passes, scored in bunches, and is a very balanced and talented player. He has good size for a guard and fills it up. I certainly want to see more of him as he’s really high on my list of players who have caught my attention in this class.

Micah ran the show for the Colorado Titans and put them in good spots. He ran the full, pushed the pace, and controlled tempo. He’s a true guard who plays unselfishly, and that is contagious. When that slowed down, he applied rim pressure, got into the teeth of the defense, and finished inside. With his IQ and decision-making, he has the makings to be a very solid player. He’s a player who is now on our radar, and he had a very solid weekend for the 15U division.
