The 2029 rankings officially drop on Wednesday, and this class has quickly turned into one of the deeper young groups we've evaluated in a while. The last few weeks brought a handful of players who kept making you go back for another look. Some were names we hadn't seen much before, others took a noticeable jump, but all of them showed enough to move themselves into the rankings conversation. It wasn't always about huge stat lines either. It was the feel, the decision-making, the way they impacted games naturally. These are the prospects that emerged and left us wanting to evaluate them even more moving forward and will be new additions to the rankings.

White continues to climb, and the more we watch him, the more I am sure he has a breakout season. It's getting harder not to think long-term with his upside. We've seen him for the Spring, and everything offensively seems to flow through him naturally. White manipulates pace, sees actions before they fully develop, and consistently creates advantages for himself and teammates. The creativity around the rim, the shot-making, the balance as a scorer, and ways to make plays as a facilitator all stand out. There's still another level physically and developmentally for him to reach, and I think he will continue to do that, but when it all comes together, watch out. I am very high on him right now. He makes a debut in the rankings, and the intrigue is getting higher.

Hendricks was one of those players who quietly became one of the better watches of the Spring session in this class, and I want to know if that translates to the varsity level and speed. The shot selection, timing off screens, and ability to process defensive adjustments stood out immediately in the few games that I've watched of him that it seems like it will surely translate. One thing that stands out for me is how he adapted to games. Once teams started to key in on him he adjusted. In multiple games, they made him change how he attacked, and he just shifted. He started hitting floaters, makes smart cuts and movement, and he does a bit of everything. He's a very intriguing long-term piece that is making his jump into the rankings.

Mulledy is making his rankings debut as he keeps proving this level is accidental. He can go. In the few games that we saw him, he looks advanced offensively for his age, especially with his footwork, timing, and ability to play at his own pace so much that we want to see it when he's playing a bit of varsity. What stands out about his game is how he. scores efficiently inside, spaces the floor, and processes the game extremely well as a screener and secondary creator. What also pops is how comfortable he looked against high-level competition. Even in difficult matchups, he never looked overwhelmed, and that says a lot about where his game is trending. He's a player to watch that we have high expectations for.

Melendez-Lam immediately becomes a player to follow based on how he performed this Spring that has us wanting to see more. He provides spacing with his ability to shoot, but he can fill it up in other ways as well. He's confident, he provides offensive firepower, and the more you watch, the more complete the game looks. He's a player who hunts mismatches and is active both with and without the ball. He has a steadiness to his game that translates, and he consistently delivered when the offense needs someone to settle things down. Alex is a player to follow and will be making his debut in the rankings.

Huilman is a player who easily makes the rankings debut, as he's a player who is very impactful. We've seen him multiple times this Spring and what we like is how he flows in the offense. The ball never gets sticky with him; he moves without the ball, and he screens with intent. He's been consistent all Spring and what separates him is that a lot of young players stop once they give the ball up, he does the opposite. Those habits translate, and the more possessions you watch, the more valuable his style of play becomes. He is a player who belongs on the list and is making his debut.

Egbune may have one of the more intriguing ceilings out of this group because of the combination of size, versatility, and he's had a few moments this Spring where he looked unstoppable. He has good size, and he's a guard. He's great with the ball in his hands, he gets to his spots, and he shows real flashes as a multi-positional creator. Egbune pushes the pace, makes smart reads, and is versatile. While there's a bit of rawness to his game, the tools are there and are obvious. You walk away from watching him wanting to see what he looks like a year from now, and I think he will be on more radars.
