Hendricks was one of those players who quietly became one of the better watches of the Spring session in this class, and I want to know if that translates to the varsity level and speed. The shot selection, timing off screens, and ability to process defensive adjustments stood out immediately in the few games that I’ve watched of him that it seems like it will surely translate. One thing that stands out for me is how he adapted to games. Once teams started to key in on him he adjusted. In multiple games, they made him change how he attacked, and he just shifted. He started hitting floaters, makes smart cuts and movement, and he does a bit of everything. He’s a very intriguing long-term piece that is making his jump into the rankings.

Hendricks is a young player for the Titans that I did not know heading into the weekend, but the more I watched, the more impactful he was. What I really liked how shot-ready he was coming off of screens, and the Titans seemed to have sets run specifically for that. He kept knocking down shots, and teams would adjust with that and try and run him off of the 3-point line, and he would hit some floaters and and-1 finishes inside. The game slowed down for him, through each game, and he was dissecting defenses and getting to where he wanted. He’s a high-IQ player who did it all for his team for the weekend. Setting hard screens and rolling, faking screens to pop, and scoring in easy ways. The Titans were using him on pin downs and dragging him across the court for shots, and he had some high-level plays. He’s a well-rounded player who is going to be good, and his game against 7070 Athletics really was one of my favorite watches on the weekend. He’s a player I’m intrigued by.

is a scrappy point guard who hustles for every loose ball on defense and gets his guys involved in the action. With a lethal quick first step with the ball, and at 5’8 being close to the ground, I only see his ball handling continuing to improve over time. Hendricks is on track for a dynamic summer with an increase in volume and reps in-game.
