One of the fastest rising prospects in the 2028 class, Vaughn Jr had a monster spring and start to his summer as he established himself as one of the top prospects in the Midwest from the class of 2028. Vaughn Jr is a powerful athlete who thrives in transition but has also made a major leap as a half-court decision maker, ball handler and perimeter shooter. The featured player for both Saint Ignatius and Grind Until, Vaughn Jr has benefited from having so much time to develop offensively and improve. I'd expect high major coaches to make sure they get their eyes on Vaughn Jr at Midwest Live this weekend.

A flat out winner, Norris has won the 15 U 3SSB championship and led Hilliard Bradley to the OHSAA Division I state championship, showing his ability to impact winning in multiple settings. Norris has an extremely high basketball IQ and will be the fourth Norris brother to play at the Division I level, with two of his older brothers helping win NCAA tournament games. While I love his intangibles and toughness, Norris has really improved as a scorer and is capable of taking games over with his offensive ability. I think whatever program Norris goes to at the college level won't be disappointed in the player they get.

A prospect who has skyrocketed up the rankings, Doliboa has grown a couple inches since last winter and his confidence has taken a bigger leap. Doliboa is shooting the basketball at a high level off the catch for [program_tooltip program_id='2076317' first='Midwest' last='Basketball Club 3SSB'] 16 U. After finishing as a second team all GWOC member last season, I'd assume Doliboa will be in the mix to win conference POY this season if he can help Springboro contend for a conference title in the most talented league in Dayton.

Stromer really impressed me for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075761' first='Ohio' last='Buckets'] 16 U group this spring as his fluidity for his size is rare to find at his age. Typically bigs take longer to develop and Stromer seems set to hit his stride this winter and become one of the most dominant small school players in central Ohio and could help The Wellington School to a deep playoff run. Stromer looks like a prospect who will simply keep getting better and should see his recruitment spike soon.

Another [program_tooltip program_id='2075761' first='Ohio' last='Buckets'] standout, Perry is an impressive athlete who has the ability to get by his first defender without needing a ball screen and thrive in transition. Perry made the move from Reynoldsburg to Pickerington North and has gotten the opportunity to rock out with the ball in his hands for the first time at the high school level after playing a complimentary role next to Division I commits with the Raiders. I'd expect Perry to put up big numbers for the Panthers this winter and his ability to take care of the basketball and make a defensive impact could determine how many wins they get this year.

Another [program_tooltip program_id='2075761' first='Ohio' last='Buckets'] 16 U prospect on the move, Waller has added much needed ball handling and quickness to a Toledo St Francis squad that is as tall as any team in Ohio. Waller is lightning quick on the basketball and has had some big scoring and assist games in June with his new team, fitting in well immediately as his skillset was exactly what the Knights needed. I'd expect Division I and II programs to come in bunches to watch the Knights at Midwest live this weekend.

Nova Village 16 U is starting to figure things out and Wagner is one of their key players as the power wing guard has the strength and aggressiveness to play through contact and relentlessly attack the rim. Skilled enough to make contested shots as well, Wagner's perimeter scoring has been the biggest aspect where he's improved from last season to this year. Wagner had some impressive moments in June and is building positive momentum going into July where I'll be able to check out him and his teammates in Louisville for the second live period.
