The body of work from the back-to-back DC Player of the Year gives us no reason to waver from his No. 1 overall ranking. Headed to Vanderbilt to compete in the SEC as a freshman, the intangibles that Brown brings from the point guard position that has to do with his competitive edge, IQ and instincts all should bode well despite making the jump to one of the top conferences in the land. His impressive stat line of 28.3 points, 5.5 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game while competing in one of the more grueling schedules you will find is a testament to his mental toughness and love for the game, which should play a role in the mandatory adjustments that are necessary at the college level.

Samuels' season was cut short due to a foot injury that required surgery, but the Alabama pledge left his mark and gave a handful of performances to remind everyone why he is one of the more natural scoring guard/wings in the class. His ability to knock down shots off the catch with volume should give him a chance to earn some minutes within head coach Nate Oates' rotation and if he's able to maintain the steady impact on the glass that he showed coming out of the summer, that should only boost his chances to carve out a role as a freshman in Tuscaloosa.

Oladotun was another top prospect who experience an injury that kept him sidelined for nearly the entire season. That came to a surprising end last night as he entered Blake's game in the Class 4A Final Four matchup against Meade. The Maryland commit would play hero as 2 of his 11 points came with seven seconds on the clock in OT to lift the Bengals past the Mustangs in their first ever trip to the state championship, which will take place this weekend against their in-county rival, Whitman. Oladotun showed expected rust in his performance last night, but also showed the flash around the rim that makes him a unique prospect having to do with size, length and fluidity. He stays put at No. 3 overall in our rankings and will need to put on significant mass to adjust smoothly to the Big Ten level.

The future Hoosier showed progressions despite struggling overall season for a McNamara group that embarked on one of the more challenging schedules in the area. The fluid, 6-foot-3 point guard has a polished attack off the bounce in getting to spots within the mid-range and can light it up when he's in rhythm. The improvements that he's shown over the last year as a passer and shooter from deep off the catch will be critical in his long-term development and ability to make a splash in Bloomington as a freshman.

Huan gets a boost up to top-5 territory after a productive senior campaign that resulted in Georgetown Prep winning the IAC title. A true two-way presence around the rim, Huan's finishing on lobs or after straight-line attacks was made known throughout gyms due to the power and authority he used on the rim. As the season progressed, his instincts as a shot-blocker were made evident especially when he was rotating from the weak side as he does a nice job of avoiding contact in the act. At this point he's still viewed as a developmental project for head coach Matt Painter and staff, but he could be one that quickly adjusts to the college game and learns how to impact at the Big Ten level with his elite length and size as many other bigs in the Purdue stable have done over the years.

Ibe checks in as the top-ranked available prospect, but there should be a number of suitors after the transfer portal dust settles as the 7-foot-1 big man continued to present intriguing flashes of dominance throughout the season. His catching and finishing in the paint became more fluid and dependable as was his mentality of controlling the boards for a prospect of his size. I'd still give the shot-blocking edge to Huan in comparison, but Ibe has shown progression in this aspect of his game over the high school season as well. Like Huan, Ibe will be more of a developmental piece (as most bigs his size are), that could really pop under the right staff at the next level.

Collingwood was another committed senior who battled some injuries during his senior season, but there's no denying the positional versatility and budding skillset that he showed throughout the summer that warranted P5 recruitment. He drops two spots in our final rankings and that had to do more with prospects that were behind him having a stronger overall body of work to their seasons. Collingwood will head to Mississippi State and look to hang his hat on being an interchangeable piece on Chris Jans' roster.

Meeks gets a 1-spot bump to No. 8 in the final rankings and checks in as the second-highest available prospect. The 6-foot guard is one of the most explosive scorers in the DMV who can change the course of a game in a handful of possessions as he proved once again this year. He ended his high school career in the MDPSSBT semifinals in a close loss to Clinton Grace, but went out in style to a tune of 28 points and in the quarterfinal win over Glenelg Country, recorded a career-high 10 assists. There are a few programs in the mix with Meeks, but James Madison has made their presence known for some time now. We'll see if a decision from Meeks is coming in the next few weeks or so.

The anchor for the 2025-26 Maryland Private School State champions, Thet has an argument for being one of the most improved prospects in the state. Now nearing 6-foot-10, the Siena pledge prides himself on leaving an impact in a multitude of ways. The touch with his jumper inside of 15 feet has become more dependable, his ability to finish high above the rim happened with more ferocity and his tenacity on the glass was evident throughout the year. Thet will look to be the next Maryland prospect to go play under head coach Gerry McNamara and carve out a role after Francis Folefac made a splash helping Siena to the MAAC championship and an NCAA Tournament berth.

Rounding out our top-10 is Able, who claimed the top spot in the John Carroll history books for points with 2,400 total. The 6-foot-3 sharpshooting guard proved his game to be much more than a lethal weapon from deep this season as he took on more of a primary playmaking role for the Patriots. Headed to UMBC next season after a tremendous year for the Retrievers, Able's shooting, instincts as a cutter and overall basketball instincts should mean for a long, productive collegiate career.
