Martin is coming off an impressive performance in the Class 4A Final Four game against Meade where he was responsible for guarding the back-to-back AA Count POY, '27 [player_tooltip player_id='2575614' first='Keon' last='Scott']. Scott would eventually exit the game with injury, but it was Martin's physical, prideful defense that would help contain the potent scorer in the 15:47 that he logged. Martin has been a foundational piece for head coach Brandon Howell's 24-3 group that will meet county opponent Whitman on Saturday night for the 4A crown. Martin's ability to play on or off the ball while maintaining an impact on the game is what makes him one of the better available backcourt options at this point. His frame will translate well to the college level as will his work ethic, that should result in evident progression over time. Martin rises from No. 41 to No. 34 in the final update.

Edwards comes in one slot behind Martin after an impressive senior season at Catonsville and despite his team's success being up and down for a variety of reasons, the explosive 6-foot-1 combo guard's dynamic playmaking was the catalyst for much of the positivity that occurred this season. His quick burst allowed for frequent visits to the rim where he can finish with authority. He posed as a lob threat in transition and while he may have been shorthanded with frontcourt teammates that could consistently finish around the bucket, Edwards showcased vision and sound processing skills as a passer. He poses as a great prep or JuCo candidate that could have serious upside in the right developmental program. Edwards made a 7-spot rise from No. 42 to No. 35.

Falko has one of the quickest, most consistent releases in the state regardless of class. True ability to fill it up from three whether he's doing it on standstill catch-and-shoots or off of movement. He's an instinctual cutter when he's coming off pin-downs or elevator screens as he uses the gravity he demands in denials to expose backdoor cuts for quick lay-ups. He brings good size as an off-ball guard who works defensively to keep his man in front. He's a vocal presence who helps call out coverages, has good awareness as a help side defender and gets out in the lanes with his head down to force defenses to make a choice in how they approach their transition defense.

Hayward has the makings of a prospect who can outplay this ranking considerably in the long-term. This season has been the one where the 6-foot-4 guard/wing has blossomed onto radars of four-year programs and prep schools due to his blend of fluidity and untapped potential. He's the spearhead for a Wicomico team that is headed to the Class 2A title game and thanks to his size and athleticism, the Indians should have a strong chance at walking away with the state title. Hayward's progression over the last year has been noteworthy and the reason why he should be viewed as a late-blooming steal. He jumped from No. 156 to No. 107 in this last edition of the rankings.

Ouattara gets a boost after his productive season for a Northwest team who was able to reel in a couple of impressive wins this season. The lead guard averaged 10.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.6 steals per game this season. He poured in a career-high 30 points against the county champs in Blake, who will be playing for the Class 4A title next week. The shifty guard does a nice job of establishing driving lanes with his quick first step and creates space in isolations where to get into his shot with balance. Ouattara went from No. 186 to No. 179 in the final update.
