Falko has one of the quickest, most consistent releases in the state regardless of class. True ability to fill it up from three whether he’s doing it on standstill catch-and-shoots or off of movement. He’s an instinctual cutter when he’s coming off pin-downs or elevator screens as he uses the gravity he demands in denials to expose backdoor cuts for quick lay-ups. He brings good size as an off-ball guard who works defensively to keep his man in front. He’s a vocal presence who helps call out coverages, has good awareness as a help side defender and gets out in the lanes with his head down to force defenses to make a choice in how they approach their transition defense.

Falko has given his team consistent shooting as a movement shooter that spaces the floor well for a team that plays a deep rotation of guys. Falko sets himself well coming off of screens, is an unselfish one-more passer that keeps the defense honest by hitting teammates with crosscourt skip passes, and can really get hot in a hurry when given the space. His ability to hit one or two-dribble jumpers makes long closeouts on the perimeter much more dangerous for defenders.

-Falko’s activity defensively really shown through in this one as a guard that has been much more active in rotations to collect steals and deflections throughout the evening. The handle has improved to allow him to push the pace in transition and his sprinting endurance has taken a nice step forward to allow him to race ahead in transition to catch over-the-head run-out assists. Encouraging signs of skill development to compliment the usual sharpshooting from the perimeter.

Despite taking a tough loss at the hands of Phelps, Falko impressed with his shotmaking, competitiveness, and expanding offensive skillset in a well-rounded 22-point effort. Known as a prolific threat from distance, he knocked down a pair of 3s while staying in constant motion hunting space off the ball. Falko showed an improving handle as he was able to navigate to spots off the bounce, particularly when attacking in transition. His toughness and vocal leadership was also key as he made a number of plays on the defensive end and helped spark his team down the stretch in order to keep the score respectable. Somewhat of a late-bloomer with D1 bloodlines, Falko is steadily emerging as a scholarship-level prospect in his own right with a chance to garner some real attention throughout the rest of the winter.

For many who aren’t aware of Falko, it doesn’t take long to realize he’s one of the more potent shooters in the 2026 class for the state of Maryland. The form isn’t textbook, but the results are impossible to argue. Combine that with the fact that Falko gets his shot off extremely quick and has a higher release point than most his size and you can see how he gets off so many looks from three off cleanly. As long as his feet are set, you think it’s going in. He doesn’t solely hunt triples, on multiple occasions Falko’s defender sprinted him off the line and he responded with hard drives to his strong hand and put pressure on the defense getting into the paint. Falko is another guy on this list that can quickly change the momentum of a game to benefit his team with his ability and mindset as a shooter.
