It doesn't matter what level of college coach you are, there are going to be a load of prospects to look at at the Class AAAA State Tournament. Here is a run down.

Signed

[player_tooltip player_id='1560778' first='Nolen' last='Anderson'] of Wayzata (Minnesota).

[player_tooltip player_id='2433532' first='Max' last='Beeninga'] of Wayzata (Minnesota State-Moorhead).

[player_tooltip player_id='1560739' first='Max' last='Iversen'] of Maple Grove (North Dakota State).

[player_tooltip player_id='1560807' first='Isaac' last='Olmstead'] of Wayzata (UMD).

[player_tooltip player_id='1560867' first='Christian' last='Wiggins'] of Wayzata (Iowa State).

[player_tooltip player_id='2118495' first='Talan' last='Witt'] of Alexandria (Southwest Minnesota State).

Division One

[player_tooltip player_id='2126467' first='Baboucarr' last='Ann'] of Maple Grove (Jr). When you see high major coaches walking the halls at state next week, it's almost a certainty that they are at the state tournament to see Babou. And yes he will be healthy......he missed the section title game because of an illness. Ann is moving up the national rankings as a four star prospect because he is the type of matured young player that colleges want to bring into their program and play early.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126118' first='Tyler' last='Forrest'] of Chaska (Jr). What are college basketball teams looking for? Matured, smart players. That is Tyler in every way. He leads the team in scoring, runs the offense, and that matured game is going to open doors for him that won't open for others. Forrest can score but he knows how to play the team game at lead guard in a winning way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2841981' first='Jed' last='Keenan'] of Chaska (Fr). What is going to surprise people is when colleges start looking at this freshman class (sorry guys its a new age, its still going to be awhile as to when it happens), they are going to go to skilled and smart players with size, not guys that just make highlight plays. Colleges want production, skill, and maturity. Jed will be one of the first places they look. A 42 percent three point shooter scoring 11 a game at the AAAA level as a frosh in a state tournament, top ten team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560458' first='Emmanuel' last='Oyesanmi'] of Tartan (Soph). Oyesanmi is scoring 14 a game on the top ranked team in state. He is a 6'4 wing with agility, explosive pop, and developing skills as a shooter and as an attacking player. His progression has been good towards being a division one recruited wing. Now Emmanuel just needs to keep making those progressions as a skilled player and developing physically the next two years.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126108' first='Jack' last='Thelen'] of Maple Grove (Jr). We are slowly moving back into a time period where seven footers are respected in college basketball. Defending ball screens is still important and tough for huge centers but offenses are changing with the times (more and more matured players being valued over young athletes) and with that has come the use of the center more often. And Jack is huge. HUGE. Huge with skill, huge with touch, huge with a good game understanding. Scoring 14 a game for the Crimson.

[player_tooltip player_id='2560499' first='Kevin' last='Wilson Jr.'] of Tartan (Soph). Wilson is the top player in his class again both in Player of the Year and top prospect. His team is undefeated and Wilson is scoring 23 plus points a game. There is a special shot making ability to Wilson and he can handle the basketball. That a is a combination that might get him over the hump when it comes to high major schools not going after young guards that are smaller than 6'3. That combination (along with winning) got [player_tooltip player_id='1560882' first='Cedric' last='Tomes'] over the hump and it seems like it will push Wilson over that edge in the modern world of recruiting high school players.

Division Two

[player_tooltip player_id='2126442' first='Bennett' last='Cizadlo'] of Maple Grove (Jr). I think Bennett is going to gain the valuable experience from playing on a great team, he is going to really learn from this season, and when Iversen and Knutson move on to college, there will be more reliance on the skills of this '6'6 skilled forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='2400080' first='Nolan' last='Greene'] of Lakeville South (Soph). If you are playing for South at a young age that means you know how to play team basketball consistently on both ends of the floor. Greene does that while leading his team in scoring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2842020' first='Xaviahn' last='Ivey'] of Wayzata (Jr). I am anxious to see Ivey as a 17u player and as the leading returning scorer for the [program_tooltip program_id='2075965' first='Trojans' last=''] next year. We have seen him do all of the role playing things and do them well: handle the ball, pressure the ball defensively, move the basketball to the talent around him. The foundation is the and Ivey has the physical gifts of speed, lateral quicks, amazing first step, and explosive bounce that others don't have. Has the ability to be a D2 player for sure, but to what level and will it be a higher level.... that is something to see as more is put on his plate.

[player_tooltip player_id='2561052' first='Chase' last='Maetzold'] of Chaska (Soph). Chase is a 42 percent three point shooter, he scores ten points a game, leads Chaska in rebounding and he is doing this is a 6'6 sophomore. Another very good frontcourt player for the Hawks who is an underclassmen.

[player_tooltip player_id='2271330' first='Trey' last='Parker'] of Apple Valley (Sr). I think there are going to be division two coaches at the games or watching online checking out Parker closely. He is scoring 23 points a game as a 40 percent club member as a 6'2 shooting guard. His game winning 30 footer to beat Eagan is now the stuff of legends and he has had a great senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='3459192' first='Mason' last='Witt'] of Alexandria (Sr). When it comes to range and explosive shooting touch, Mason is one of the best. And also keep in mind, he has been scoring at 20 plus for a state tournament team his entire career! Witt will be able to shoot and score for teams at the next level and he has the wins on his record that open eyes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560866' first='Camare'' last='Young'] of Apple Valley (Sr). Young has been wanted by D2s and top NAIA schools around here so badly because he is so versatile. Young is averaging 20 points, 6.6 rebounds, four assists and 2.4 steals a game shooting 48 percent from the field and an improved 35 percent at the arc. He is a very strong 6'5 but has played point forward for his team as well, the Eagles can use him at every spot.

Juco-NAIA-D3 Headliners

[player_tooltip player_id='1874931' first='Shiloh' last='Ayitey'] of Blaine (Sr). The story of Ayitey is awesome as he has come from nowhere to lead his team to 38 or 39 wins in the last two seasons. Ayitey has combo guard ability scoring over 20 a game for the Bengals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560811' first='Collin' last='Johnson'] of Lakeville South (Sr). Johnson had a fantastic 17u season and has carried that right into his senior season scoring a dozen a game. Matured, high IQ player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2465512' first='Duke' last='King'] of Tartan (Sr). I don't know if it will be immediate or after a stop at a junior college or someplace else but King has really grown physically which has helped make him the Tartan second leading scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1960892' first='Henry' last='Knutson'] of Maple Grove (Sr). I am not smart enough to know what level of football recruit Henry will be and maybe football is his thing in college, but when I watch Henry play, he seems like the mold of a 6'4 strong MIAC player. Right away. He can shoot it, Henry moves well, he is tough, plays a good team game, and is trusted. Scoring eight a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='3492463' first='Nate' last='Owata'] of Lakeville South (Sr). A huge development to the South season, Owata has grown into a 6'6 frontcourt player scoring ten a game and helping give the Cougars active size.

[player_tooltip player_id='2119645' first='Tyrel' last='Pride'] of Tartan (Sr). Pride is a point guard but he is playing with Wilson so he plays both guard spots for his team and Tyrel has adapted. He defends, Pride has made some big shots in big games, he handles when Wilson is off the floor or off the ball, and has been a key all around piece.

[player_tooltip player_id='3459122' first='Gavin' last='Roderick'] of Alexandria (Sr). Scoring about 21 plus points a game and doing it both with the three point touch and going at the rim. And when I mean going at the rim, I mean with the dribble or finding ways in transition or off the ball to score.

[player_tooltip player_id='2121334' first='Ryker' last='Sanders'] of Lakeville South (Sr). A top scorer, rebounder, defender and outstanding all around team player for the Cougars.
