The North Carolina native joined a loaded Southeastern Prep squad that has played against many of the top teams in the country this season. It will be interesting to see where Rosser's recruitment shapes up this summer as he's already been offered by a handful of blue blood programs.

Taking a big step this winter, Spears Jr dominated the OTE league for Dynamic Prep, putting up silly scoring, rebounding and efficiency numbers this winter. In the OTE championship game, Spears had 30 points on 12/16 shooting from the field with eight rebounds and three steals to win the title. With elite physical tools from his Dad, a former NFL defensive linemen for nine seasons, Spears Jr has tremendous defensive upside. Another prospect with some of the top programs in the country making strong pushes.

Arguably the most dominant physical force in all of high school basketball right now, Ekezie Jr is the son of a NBA center who looks like somebody who could be placed into a high major game tomorrow and compete physically. A walking double-double, Ekezie Jr is tough to keep off the glass and has the size and length to be an impactful shot blocker. Still needing some time as a scorer to develop, I'm hoping to see Ekezie Jr show some strides as a back to the basket player, a play finisher and a floor spacer from the mid-range area this summer. A reclass up to 2026 is also a potential option for Ekezie Jr.

The bloodlines don't lie for the class of 2027 stars as Ryan's older brother Rj Hampton was a consensus five-star prospect and first round NBA draft selection. Hampton has locked in official visits to NC State, Nebraska, SMU and Ole Miss according to League Ready and completed his NC State visit at the start of March. Playing alongside Spears Jr for Drive Nation, the duo are one of the most dynamic pairs in the country to watch during the summer and have grown alongside each other by developing some impressive pick and roll chemistry.

A versatile wing prospect, Kamissoko has gotten a lot of on-ball reps for Long Island Lutheran this season because of injuries to top scorers. Despite a tough record in league play, I liked that Kamissoko was thrown into the fire this winter and had to be trusted to make a lot of plays with the ball in his hands. I've known he can defend, run the floor and provide energy, but his potential NBA future will be determined by how his offensive skillset fills out.

The third prospect from Southeastern Prep in the top 10 of the 2027 national rankings, it's safe to say David Peavy has built a monster squad. The second point guard to have an older brother be a five star and first round draft pick, both Black and Hampton will hope to follow in the footsteps of their older sibling and make it to the league. Black has taken a significant jump since the summer ended, impressing at Team USA Camp and continuing that upward trajectory this winter. Recent offers from UNC, Missouri, Cal and Villanova add to a deep list of high major programs who are interested in bringing Black into their program.

One of the youngest players nationally in the 2027 class, Hill won the Peach Jam championship before turning 16 years old. The highest ranked prospect in the 2027 class at a public high school program, Hill was coached by former NBA star Jeff Teague at Pike. A tremendous shot blocking talent, Hill has exceptional timing and anticipation on the defensive end of the court. A player Prep Hoops has been higher on than the rest of the industry for a year now, it's good to see other recruiting sites bumping Hill up into the top 20 where he belongs.

Alston has had a huge rise since the start of last summer, dominating the Puma circuit and continuing to impress this winter. Taking official visits to SMU and Wichita State over the past few weeks, it seems like Alston might be prioritizing a path where he can play with the ball in his hands right away and have a team built around him. Playing at a traditional high school and on the Puma circuit shows that Alston is comfortable creating his own path. His Dad played over a decade in the NBA and certainly should know what it takes for a player to get to the highest level of basketball.

Playing on the NIKE Scholastic champions, Osaruyi had a monster season for CIA Bella Vista, taking a huge leap from sophomore to junior season. A fluid wing forward athlete, Osaruyi covers a lot of ground in transition and plays above the rim with ease. When Osaruyi is making shots he is extremely tough to stop and he measured in at 6'9 with a 7'2 wingspan at 219 pounds at Basketball without borders according to ESPN. Expect blue blood programs to target Osaruyi this summer.

Spire had an impressive first season in the Nike Scholastic league with Kevin Boyle as their new head coach. Gibson is viewed as their top prospect as the 6'5 combo guard was a consistent producer this season. With a college ready frame, Gibson could reclass into the class of 2026 if he decides to because his overall game is very polished and well-rounded. Expect college programs to be very interested in Gibson as a 2027 or 2026 reclass.
