Lambert is one of the top two-way options in the conference and a Top-5 on-ball defender in the entire state in my humble opinion, despite only being a sophomore. This feels like the year everything clicks for him and he comes out of his shell. He'll be the go-to scorer, rebounder, and physical presence who gets wherever he wants, but he has to take it. As the conference's top player, expectations are heavy, but he should be ready to answer them and make a leap. This is the year for him.

Kayden went on a tear this summer and proved why his rankings jump was real. And some people still don't believe. At 6'7, he's one of the most polished, all-around prospects, scoring at all three levels and defending the rim. Kayden has a smooth stroke, face-up game, back-to-basket looks, and should be a fulcrum of the offense. He has it all. With a target on him now, consistency unlocks his breakout, and college interest skyrockets. This is a make-or-break year for him, he will have to step into being the guy or it becomes fully just potential. As we know, I am high on Kayden.

Now that football is done, Mitchell shifts fully into basketball and steps in as a candidate to lead the entire conference in scoring. Even during football season, he dropped 50 pieces at showcases and proved that he was one of the most explosive players in the state who could score when he wanted. Mitchell is one of the best athletes in the conference as he has elite 3-point shooting, he's a strong rebounder, and is an elite finisher. Cherokee Trail goes as he goes, and he's ready to put on a show. He comes in as the No.3 player in the conference and could easily be No.1 with a big season.

Demari is set for a breakout junior season after winning a state title and seeing what it takes, and now it's time for him to elevate his game for Eaglecrest to have a duplicate season. Now he's the guy and must stay in attack mode, and I think that switch is where he will have to separate himself and be even better. We saw him this summer at various tourneys and our showcase, and there's promise. The mid-range is lethal, he breaks defenders down to get to his hot spots, and he can be disruptive defensively. Now it's about putting that all together, every time out. A trusted source said he believes that he could lead the conference in scoring—and we have to see it. Big year incoming for him, and he's the No.4 player in the conference, but has the intangibles to be the top overall player. Prove it.

Montae enters as the No. 5 player in the conference, and he's only a sophomore. He's transitioning into a true point guard and keeps getting better every viewing, and we've seen him plenty of times. He shoots the 3 at a high clip, but is even better when he finishes creatively with his mid-range and at the basket. The most underrated aspect of his game is his passing, despite being a player who can light it up. Now it is about finding that perfect balance and applying pressure defensively. Montae is calm under pressure, everything comes naturally for him, and he's as smooth as they come. With a bigger role at Creek and a chip on his shoulder, he's poised to rise fast. Excited to see what it looks like for him when it matters. Prove me wrong.

Wyatt is finally tapping into his potential, and that makes Creek a dark horse contender. At 6'11, he's coordinated, mobile, and finishing everything. This summer, we saw hooks, dunks, rim touches, and him battling down low. He's blocking and altering shots, running the floor, and playing with a new edge, and that is all that anybody has ever asked for. With his size and ceiling, he becomes the top center in the league and a breakout candidate statewide, with all eyes being on him and a big void to fill. He's the most exciting player in the conference.

Bonner returns as the conference's leading scorer and rebounder after averaging 17.5 points and 10 rebounds a game. He dominated the block with power and soft touch, ran the floor, and finished everything inside. He's headed to Michigan for football, but not before anchoring Mullen one more year. He's one of the state's best players and a clear top-seven talent in the conference.
