While you lock that in, we're shifting our focus to one of the strongest classes in the state. A group that's primed for major movement over the next few years. Hot starts have launched new names into the spotlight, while others are still building toward their breakthrough. This class is far from settled, and the board is already shifting. Here are some of the biggest risers in the 2028 rankings.

Wittler has been the biggest surprise to begin the year in the 2028 class. He's the 2nd leading scorer out of all 2028s at 20.9 points a game and has put up double digits in each game. He's a confident young guard who is a sniper from deep, and he can create for himself off the dribble and for teammates. Wittler is shooting over 50% from deep on 6.2 attempts a game. He's leading the team in scoring, averaging 2.4 steals a game and turning those into scoring opportunities as well. Wittler is a prospect who we certainly hope to see more of but from what we've seen to start the year, we feel confident in having him make the biggest rise in the rankings.

6'5 sophomore wing, Noah, has been on a tear to begin the season and is a player who I believe will continue to rise each time out. Last season, he barely got any varsity minutes, but with a year of improvement, he's been one of the top prospects in the class. Noah is up to 11.1 points a game heading into the 2nd half of the season and looks to attack. He does not turn down many shots; he's aggressive and a three-level scorer. He's putting up a ton of shots a game to show his confidence and is going to have some big scoring games this season. He jumps onto the rankings for the first time with eyes on going higher.

Tate is a guard who gets in in spot minutes for Lewis-Palmer and causes a spark when he's on the floor. He runs the floor hard, battles for rebounds and can play on and off the ball. He can also finish in transition. He hasn't taken many shots in games but makes them when it counts. He rebounds hard, he gets his hands on deflections and turns that into scoring opportunities the other way. We also like the type of rebounder that he is. He will make a debut in the rankings this go round and fight for minutes in the second half of the season.

There aren't many sophomores in the state that's having the rise that Kalimba is having. He went into the year as a relatively unknown name, but has been one of the most consistent players in the class. He's also been one of the top players on the state champs. In 10 games, Kalimba is averaging 12.1 points a game. He's hit 12 3-pointers on the year, and he breaks defenders down off the dribble and reads the floor well. He also serves as a primary ballhandler at times, who makes quick decisions, and at no time does it look sped up for him out there. He's going to be making a huge jump in the rankings with what we've seen from him, and I feel that he will continue to be one of the top prospects in the class.

6'6 forward, Jensen serves as the 6th man role on a contender. He's jumped into games and provided a spark as a floor spacer who also roams the baseline, finishes in traffic, and has his highlight moments above the rim. He's excelled in that spot to start the year. Unfortunately for his team due to injury, he's now catapulted into a bigger role, and he will have to be ready for it. I expect him to be a huge riser for the second half of the season, and with his ceiling, we made the call to have him as one of the biggest risers in the rankings. Buy stock in Jensen now. This will be the worst he is, and he's pretty good.
