Pisculich is developing into the type of player coaches love to build around and has continued to build on the success he had last season at Poudre. He put together an impressive stretch of 11 consecutive games scoring in double figures, showcasing his ability to produce consistently. After showing those flashes during the high school season, he has taken another step forward this summer and looks more confident and polished in every aspect of his game. Pisculich looks increasingly comfortable with the ball in his hands and carries the confidence of a player who believes he can score from anywhere on the floor. Defensively he has also made noticeable strides, using his physicality and strength to make life difficult for opponents and impact the game on both ends of the court
Pisculich brought a high motor, fundamentally sound performance that impacted both ends of the floor. He made a living off hard, purposeful cuts, consistently putting pressure on the defense and creating easy scoring chances. When he got to the rim, he showed great touch and control, finishing confidently with both hands. Defensively he was locked in playing tight, physical on ball defense and staying disciplined throughout possessions. He didn’t take plays off and embraced the gritty work that often swings momentum. Pisculich’s effort, toughness and ability to capitalize on smart movement made him a reliable and effective piece all tournament long
Pisculich is a name to watch this summer because players with his size, length and ability to impact the paint always draw attention. He uses his frame well on the defensive end, staying in front of opponents and making scoring inside a challenge. His presence alone can change how teams attack. Offensively he is tough to stop on the low block, where he uses strength and positioning to create quality looks around the rim. As he continues to develop his footwork and overall skill set, his upside becomes even more intriguing. Big men who can defend, rebound and score with efficiency are valuable, and Pisculich has the tools to make a major statement this summer
Noah is a 6’5 wing with upside who is having a solid individual season from an offensive standpoint. He’s scoring 12.2 points a game, is starting to show that he can be a big-time shooter and floor spacer with his long-distance shots finally dropping, and that has been a welcome sight for his team. He averaged 13.2 points in January. Once that turns into him being a more complete prospect with the rebounding and sound defensive option, that will make him even more of a weapon. His challenge should be on improving that aspect of that game because with that, the sky becomes the limit for a talented player.
6’5 sophomore wing, Noah, has been on a tear to begin the season and is a player who I believe will continue to rise each time out. Last season, he barely got any varsity minutes, but with a year of improvement, he’s been one of the top prospects in the class. Noah is up to 11.1 points a game heading into the 2nd half of the season and looks to attack. He does not turn down many shots; he’s aggressive and a three-level scorer. He’s putting up a ton of shots a game to show his confidence and is going to have some big scoring games this season. He jumps onto the rankings for the first time with eyes on going higher.
Pisculich has quietly emerged as a real bright spot for a Poudre group still finding its footing to begin the season. The 6’5 sophomore has taken on a heavy offensive load and hasn’t shied away from it. He’s active without the ball, attacks off the catch, and shows comfort scoring through contact. He’s coming off a 20-point outing and has been proving he can shoulder pressure and still produce. The season may not be going like the team wants right now, but the confidence is rising, and he’s making a name for himself. He’s on our radar after a great start.
