Bonner returns as the conference’s leading scorer and rebounder after averaging 17.5 points and 10 rebounds a game. He dominated the block with power and soft touch, ran the floor, and finished everything inside. He’s headed to Michigan for football, but not before anchoring Mullen one more year. He’s one of the state’s best players and a clear top-seven talent in the conference.

Bonner’s athletic toolbox paired with the constant motor makes him due for a huge role at Mullen, set to be a key contributor for them on both ends. Excellent rotating on help side early or staying straight up at the point of attack, he tends to be in a beneficial defensive position. A fluid athlete who runs the floor well, he has been a routine beneficiary of outlet passes from playmaking guards. Effective elevating above the rim for lobs, Bonner is among the best athletes in this class, particularly for his frame. He came into the club season at one of the best rebounders and shot blockers in the class. His verticality has made him a particularly effective slip screen scorer, taking advantage of the open lane after diving early. Far from just a around the rim scorer, Bonner has made steady improvements in his face-up shooting, becoming more confident to stretch the floor around the free throw line.

Especially mobile for his height, Bonner provides B and B with a lob threat and active defensive option. Effective rotating over early to swat away shot attempts, he makes the most of his wide reach while contesting rim attempts. Around the perimeter, opponents tend to shy away from attacking him head on. Bonner looks to get out early in transition if he has the opportunity, quick to push the pace to receive outlets. As one of the most productive shot blockers in this 2026 class, Bonner remains a notable prospect on the court and on the field.

Bonner was quite possibly the most impactful defender from either team during this matchup. Effective protecting the rim without fouling at a high rate, the forward did an excellent job maintaining legal position to stunt drives. Certainly growing throughout the summer, Bonner is taller yet still mobile to match up with a variety of opponents. He even threw down a powerful dunk on the secondary break, although he did not get the call, ending up as a charge. The utility man will be incredibly valuable to Mullen’s success this season, although there is still plenty of untapped potential with the sophomore forward.

Bonner was one of many standout players for B&B Academy 2026 Black as he was able to make an impact on the interior. He was a player that showed good ball handling ability and was able to use his vision to hit his teammates on cuts and in transition. He was pushing the break in transition and was able to drive and score at the rim. He is also able to knock down his midrange which he was able to stretch the defense, allowing his teammates room to cut. On the defensive end he was able to block some shots on players driving and was altering opposing players shots all day. He will be a player to watch progress this summer.
