Agosto is going to get a chance to lead a very talented Blue Ridge team this year, and is a player that college coaches should really get familiar with and watch how he leads a winning program. He's shifty off the bounce and can both create space on the perimeter and touch the paint off the bounce, he picks his spots and scores it efficiently from multiple levels, he makes others around him better, and he is a good on ball defender too.

24) [player_tooltip player_id='2242402' first='RJ' last='Jones'] | 6'2” CG | Virginia Academy (#72 Overall)

Jones is one of the most underrated players in the NOVA area, as he's consistently been a big time scorer over the last few years and is set to have a big senior season leading a new look VA Academy team. The 6'2” combo is a gifted scorer who can play on or off the ball, he has deep range both off the catch and off the bounce, he can get downhill and finish through contact or draw contact to get to the line, and he can get hot quickly and fill it up in bunches.

23) [player_tooltip player_id='1630997' first='Elijah' last='Brandon'] | 5'11” PG | St. Chris (#71 Overall)

Brandon has been a staple for St. Chris over the past three seasons, and going into his senior year it's going to be his team and he is one of the most consistent and skilled guards you'll find in RVA. While he's only 5'11” he's very strong allowing him to get downhill offensively and get physical on the defensive end, he can drill it from deep with range both off the catch and off the bounce, he has great instincts and feel on both ends of the floor, and he's a natural leader who does all the little things to help his team too.

22) [player_tooltip player_id='1782687' first='Phenix' last='Card'] | 6'2” PG | Gillion Academy (#68 Overall)

Card has been a big reason for the emergence of Gillion Academy as he was one of the first commits to the program, and he's one of the most underrated players in the DMV area that would make a big impact for a college program moving forward. The 6'2” lead guard is highly skilled as he can create for himself and others off the bounce, he is a crafty finisher around the rim when he gets downhill, he can move off the ball and drill it from deep, and his ability to make plays for others allows him to play in multiple roles for them.

21) [player_tooltip player_id='2510345' first='Justin' last='Jones'] | 6'2” CG | Atlantic Shores (#65 Overall)

Jones has had quite the career at Atlantic Shores as he's already a 1,000 point scorer heading into his senior season, and he'll be in the running yet again as one of the top scorers in the 757 this season. The 6'2” combo has a basketball frame with long arms and a strong upper body to play through contact, he has great fundamentals from his catch-and-shoot form to his footwork on his pull-ups, he is super crafty as a finisher around the rim, and his relentless work ethic is evident in the improvements he's made over the years.

20) [player_tooltip player_id='2459244' first='Amare' last='Cooper'] | 6'3” CG | Monacan (#62 Overall)

Cooper has been one of the top guards in the Richmond area since he was a sophomore, as he's put up huge numbers at Monacan including a handful of 30 and even 40 point games, and the Mount Olive commit looks like he could compete to be the top scorer in the area his senior year. He's best described as a walking bucket as he is shifty and slippery off the bounce with hesitations and crossovers that get him to the rim, he can create space and knock down shots from deep and in the midrange, and once he gets it going he can hit very difficult shots that are demoralizing to defenses.

19) [player_tooltip player_id='2620491' first='Diego' last='Joy'] | 6'0” PG | Saint James Academy (#53 Overall)

Joy comes to Saint James in their first year after a very impressive career at Jackson-Reed in DC, and he's one of the top available guards in the DMV that coaches should look at with his blend of raw talent and ability to run the show. The 6'0” lead guard has great change of speed and direction to beat defenders off the bounce, he controls the tempo and makes great decisions both in transition and in the half court, he can create for himself and others with a deep bag from multiple levels, and he has an understanding of the game that coaches can trust him as an extension of them on the court.

18) [player_tooltip player_id='2618849' first='Collin' last='Bowles'] | 6'2” CG | Massaponax (#52 Overall)

Bowles burst on the scene going into his junior season, and has done nothing but continue to improve and solidify himself as one of the top players in the Fredericksburg area, and after a big summer he committed to D2 Shippensburg in Pennsylvania. The 6'2” combo is one of the more deadly shooters you'll come across in the state as he shoots it at a super high clip with effortless range, he can handle and work in pick-and-rolls to make plays for himself and others, he has great feel on both ends of the floor, and his consistency is impressive as he always seem to impact the game in a positive way.

17) [player_tooltip player_id='2347779' first='Nick' last='Byrd'] | 5'10” PG | S3 Academy (#51 Overall)

Byrd has had a very successful career leading Hopewell to two straight state championships, and this summer he transferred to S3 Academy where he has been nothing short of fantastic this fall and early in the season for a very talented group. He's a mix of a throwback floor general and a new school scoring guard as he can control the tempo and get his team into sets, he can work off of ball screens as a threat to both touch the paint to make a play or drag it out and knock down shots from deep or in the midrange, he is super crafty getting downhill and finishing over bigger defenders, and his all-around skillset makes him tough to matchup with for anyone.

16) [player_tooltip player_id='2301294' first='Akim' last='Iscandari'] | 6'1” PG | Potomac School (#50 Overall)

Iscandari has quietly been one of the top guards in the DMV area at Potomac School over the past few years, and all of the work paid off when he committed to Navy over the summer when he was killing the HGSL with [program_tooltip program_id='2390411' first='Team' last='AKT']. The 6'1” point guard is one of the toughest matchups you can find because he's one of the fastest players you will come across with the ball in his hands. He has blazing speed in transition, he has great burst coming out of hesitations and lives in the lane, and he's able to use that speed and athleticism defensively to hound ball handlers and shoot passing lanes too.
