Frank was one of the top prospects on the weekend, and it was a welcome surprise for his team, but it goes to show you how he will be looked at this season. His consistency stood out in every game. Ralston Valley will lean on him heavily this season, and he has to be ready to take on that role. His 3-ball was on display as it always is with this group, but his decision-making and poise were just as noticeable. He had 15 points vs. a hard-playing Denver South squad, then 18 points against a tough Chaparral team. This wasn't simply a role player showing flashes. This is a player they'll need to feature.

Spann is a freshman, but he made his mark as an impact defender who embraces physicality. That will earn him extra minutes. He rebounds in traffic, has great timing on blocks, and picks up full court without hesitation. He finished through contact multiple times and consistently put himself in the right spots in helpside defense. His size, effort, and physical motor allow him to fit in right away. He belongs and showed he's ready to contribute early on. We liked what we saw from Dash.

Sean gave ThunderRidge valuable shooting and constant movement at times when his team needed it. He can get hot from deep, and there was a time that he went on a mini run by himself. He spaces the floor, runs the lanes, and chipped in with some tough and-1 finishes. He plays with bounce, confidence, and never stops moving. His name continued to surface all weekend as someone who kept impacting winning possessions. He popped for me and is a player to keep an eye on.

Luke brought an athletic and physical presence inside in both games that helped Chaparral pick up their wins, and it will be a calling card for him all season. He scored 18 points in his first game and had a few dunks in the half-court set as he ran the baseline in the second game. His dunks, finishes, and rebounding stood out as he keeps plays alive for his team. With so much defensive attention on the guards, it was big to see him step up as a down-low force. He's very athletic, active, and looks ready to have breakout games through rebounding and energy plays. He continues to shine.

Conrad stepped into an extended role as the primary ball-handler and looked ready for the task. In Rangeview's couple of games, he spaced the floor, initiated offense, and played with real twitch and burst. His quickness stands out immediately. Rangeview already has a dangerous defensive identity on the press, and adding a guard who can pressure the ball, push tempo, and get teammates into rhythm only raises the ceiling. His growth as a lead guard was evident this weekend, and is a role we will be paying attention to.
