came up huge in his junior campaign, making the most of his minutes while distributing the rock with ease. The 6’1 combo guard constantly confuses defenders while getting creative with his scoring techniques. Quick off the triple threat, Marshall Jr. can get to his spot around the mid range, or attack the paint at will. As the AAU season is approaching within the next couple of weeks, Marshall Jr. will be a big name to keep your eyes peeled for as he continues to evolve his game and deepen his bag.
Rangeview has been a contender for the past few years, so adding a guard to the mix and not disrupting what they have going is a tall feat. Conrad has fit in seamlessly and is also a weapon that they use on opposing teams. He’s quick nd explosive and a bit of a live wire. Some games call for him to score the basketball, and others just to provide a spark, and he’s done that. He pressures opposing guards, turns them over by speeding them up, and uses his speed to his advantage. Rangeview has units that best fit his play-style, and that only adds to their strength. He’s a glue guy for them.
Conrad stepped into an extended role as the primary ball-handler and looked ready for the task. In Rangeview’s couple of games, he spaced the floor, initiated offense, and played with real twitch and burst. His quickness stands out immediately. Rangeview already has a dangerous defensive identity on the press, and adding a guard who can pressure the ball, push tempo, and get teammates into rhythm only raises the ceiling. His growth as a lead guard was evident this weekend, and is a role we will be paying attention to.
Marshall is a player who jumped onto the scene and has made his mark quickly. We’ve seen him a few times in the Fall league, and what we like about him is his effort. He’s a tenacious on-ball defender that plays the passing lanes and turns that into scoring opportunities. He’s a twitchy guard with range that gets to his spots. He has a quick first step and finishes at the rim but also can knock down the 3-ball. We certainly will see more of him as Rangeview will be an entertaining team to follow this upcoming season and he adds another electric two-way option. He easily jumps onto our rankings and will have the chance to rise with a solid season.
