was consistent from the field, knocking down 67% of his looks from the field while going 1/3 from beyond the arc. Totalling 13 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks, Andrew put his all-around game on full blast against the Grizzlies. The 6’2 senior can attack the paint ruthlessly, with a hyperfocus on intentional footwork that allows him to get off any look he wants. It’s clear he’s taken what he’s learned from the previous summer with the Miners and translated it to improve his game further with the Raiders. The #11 forward in the senior class is highly driven to finalize his campaign with a state title.

Andrew makes an impact every time he steps on the court. Defensively he played a physical, disruptive style that forced bad decisions and created turnovers. On offense he ran the floor in transition with purpose, finishing strong and adding 10 points. What set him apart is his all around game and that he did a little bit of everything, from defense to playmaking to scoring, and did it all without hesitation. Andrew is the kind of player every team needs, the one who consistently shows up and makes his presence felt on both ends

Andrew has started to finally receive recognition for his contributions to that Rangeview team, and it’s STILL not enough. What he does for Rangeview not only gives them their identity, but his selflessness and ability to do what’s asked of him is why he may be their most important player. He’s an X factor in that sense, but also a player who will pop. He’s on top of the press, he gets his hands in passing lanes as a disruptor and scores, he finishes around the basket, and sometimes he sells out to try and shut a guy down. Through 3 games, he’s filling up the box score with 7.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 4 assists a game. He may not wow with huge scoring performances, but that’s not what’s asked of him. It’s rare to see a player on such a talented team star in his role, and he does just that. Big season ahead for Anthony.

Andrew took noticeable strides in rounding out his game at fall league. His confidence with the ball continued to grow, and he showed more control in setting the pace and reading defenses. He’s become more comfortable creating for others while still attacking aggressively when lanes open up. Around the rim he finished stronger and more efficiently, showing better body control and touch. On defense Andrew elevated his presence by applying constant pressure, anticipating plays and forcing turnovers with his quick hands and positioning. His energy on both ends became contagious, and he consistently set the tone for his team. He proved that not only is he steady and reliable, but a dynamic two way guard who continues to add polish and confidence to his game

Andrew has been one of the most entertaining players that we watched all summer long, and he’s truly proven that not only that he belongs, but that he’s one of the premier prospects in the entire state. His game has ascended every time out, and he’s gone from an elite role player to one of the team’s core players. He’s a player who is an above-average defender, steals shots, and turns them into points, and you do not have to run plays for. At the event, it was more of that where he just hits on every category. Rankings come out soon, and he’ll certainly be a riser.

Andrew is a grinder in every sense of the word. He’s a glue guy who brings real value to every rotation, and Rangeview knows that he’s reliable when he’s on the floor. He’s a tough on-ball defender that makes smart reads, rebounds outside his area, and doesn’t need touches to impact a game. You trust him to hold leads or stabilize second units as he’s low-maintenance, high-trust. He cuts, defends, and competes every possession, and that’s a player you can go to war with. He makes the rankings for the first time after a solid season of learning the ropes, but should be depended upon heavily this upcoming season.

Despite the loss, Anthony had some nice moments for Colorado Miners . He’s a fluid athlete who plays with great change of speed on the ball. Able to lull his defender to sleep, and then explode with a burst of speed to get into the lane. Has a very long frame for his height, and uses it to extend and finish away from his body. That length also helps him get up in passing lanes, or poke the ball free when his matchup gets careless off the dribble. In the second half he caught a lot of the gym off guard as he flew down the lane for an explosive one handed dunk.
