Smiley’s stock was already high, but the playoffs were another reminder of why he’s a Division I commit. He plays a step ahead of everyone else on the floor, reading the game and controlling the pace with the ball in his hands. Time and time again he got downhill, forced action at the rim and made the right play. His handle allows him to dictate the game, and when the moment was biggest he delivered, exploding for 35 points in the semifinals to close out his high school career in dominant fashion

Smiley showed exactly why he’s headed to the D1 level. The Windsor star delivered a dominant performance, finishing with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists while setting the tone from start to finish. In the second half he lived downhill, consistently beating defenders off the dribble and attacking the rim with authority. When the game tightened, Smiley rose to the moment. He threw down two huge dunks that electrified the gym, swung momentum and helped seal the victory. His toughness, explosiveness and ability to take over when it mattered most were on full display

Smiley has propelled the defending champions to another dominant season, and if they want to repeat, he’ll need to continue doing what he’s done all year. Averaging 23.9 points and 7.8 rebounds while shooting 41% from deep, Smiley is the ultimate offensive weapon. He can stretch the floor, attack the rim and control the glass. His scoring efficiency and big game ability make him the tone setter and the player defenses must stop if they hope to slow down the champs

has been sizzling hot this season and continues to showcase why he’s the best hooper in the box state. Annihilating the competition is an understatement for Smiley, with his efforts contributing 23.3 PPG, 7.1 RPG, and 2.8 SPG to the Windsor Wizards’ dominant season so far. Smiley has mastered his pace of play and does a great job dictating where he wants to go on the hardwood. The All-State First Team combo guard looks to stay on fire in 2026.

Madden accomplished it all as a junior, and now the state champion is looking for a back-to-back. He is one of the top scorers in the state at 20.9 a game as a junior, and I believe he will up those numbers as he appears to be a man on a mission. He looked to be unstoppable the times we saw him this summer as he stood out at Colorado live, Section 7, team camps, and for Mountain Stars, and his aggressiveness really stands out. He committed to Wyoming, so this year is about enjoying it all and solidifying himself in the history books with another trophy and player of the year nod. He comes in at No.2 in the state.

Smiley is definitely a standout player to watch, and he’s got it all – with or without the ball. In the semifinals and finals, he dropped 42 points to help his team claim the championship. On offense – his ball control is top notch, and he moves effortlessly to get open. His size lets him mix it up inside, but he’s also got a killer shot from deep, one of the prettiest 3-pointers you’ll see. Where he really stands out is on defense. He’s got quick hands that lead to steals, and he’s always in the right spot to grab rebounds. Scoring is where he shines, but it’s his defense that really makes him special. His footwork is next level, making life tough for anyone trying to get a clean shot off against him. Watching him lock down opponents is a thing of beauty
