Expert Analysis
Duvalier Johnson | Prep Hoops Scout
Noel carved out a role on a high-level team by doing the little things, but his upside points to something bigger moving forward. Noel made the most of his minutes and showed himself to be a glue guy. He will return as the team’s leading scorer, and Windsor will be a young and talented group that will run through him moving forward. He’s shown flashes of being one of the more intriguing players in the class, as he has good size, he’s strong, and can really shoot the ball. We love what we saw from him to begin the summer, and he is my pick for the conference’s surprise player of the year. He’s now on the rankings from the watch list and is a player I think will certainly rise by summer’s end.

Noel is a prospect who turned heads in his sophomore season and came into the summer with some confidence, as he got real varsity minutes, and you could tell with his demeanor and style of play. He shoots the 3-ball confidently, stays shot ready, and showed the ability to get inside and hit some mid-range jumpers as well. He also got out and ran the floor, and hit some transition buckets, showing a complete offensive game. He’s a player who plays the right way and had a refreshing game each time that we saw them because of his understanding of spacing and where to be. Stock booster for sure.

Noel is an athletic and tough-nosed prospect for Windsor who stays on the floor due to his toughness. It took him a bit to get settled, but with how he’s performed as of late, he’s going to be quite the player for the defending champs moving forward. Noel is a sophomore difference-maker who is in the middle of his best stretch of the season. A switch flipped for him in the new year and he hasn’t looked back since. He’s put up 19 points, 12 points and 11 points on incredible efficiency, the team won all of those game, and he’s also been an improved playmaker as well. He’s been rebounding and setting the tone defensively and that’s a player you build around.
