Sunday, October 12th I attended John Millyard's annual Southern Arizona Showcase. It is a great way to see many prospects from Tucson in just one day at one gym. I probably watched 100+ players play two times each plus I watched the Top-20 Game.

Here was the all Tournament 4th Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2990389' first='Hassan' last='Adam'] Tucson

An athletic scoring guard/wing. He will score with catch or step into threes. He takes long strides to the basket and he has a nice bag of ball fakes into mid-range jumpers. He runs the floor for layups in transition and has advanced moves in the post.

[player_tooltip player_id='2268365' first='Kristian' last='Del Rio'] Cienega

A thicker framed scoring guard who can play some of the wing position. He will score getting downhill in traffic using that strength and deceptive burst. He will hit the three off the catch and he is a sneaky good passer. He will also defend a couple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956213' first='Ben' last='Lambe'] Pusch Ridge (Pictured)

A face-up power forward with a cerebral approach to the game. He will rebound control the glass with his improving build and frame and score with offensive rebound put backs plus hit the three off the dribble or catch. They will try and repeat behind his skill and brawn.

[player_tooltip player_id='2916076' first='Jordan' last='Noble'] Palo Verde

A decent sized scoring guard can fill it up with threes off the catch, rip thrus to the basket, fall aways in the post and mid-range jumpers. He will even jump stop into a hook and rebounds well in his area. A great addition to the Titans.

[player_tooltip player_id='2492676' first='Omar' last='Rasul'] Salpointe Catholic

A true power forward throws his strength and girth around in the paint to control the glass and score it. He is under the rim but has advanced post footwork and counter moves to utilize with soft hands and longer arms.

[player_tooltip player_id='2825334' first='Julian' last='Robles'] Canyon Del Oro

A scoring combo guard who can play on or off the ball. He scores it from all levels but will make plays with passes up the court. He will score with mid-range pull-ups off the dribble, hit the three off the catch or pull and get downhill into a tough layup.

[player_tooltip player_id='2133645' first='Razin' last='Smith Jr'] The Gregory School

A stronger framed power forward is cerebral and brings some skill to the court. He is a very good passer out of the double team and he can handle the ball well to create his own offense. He has soft hands to score in the post and will score with plus footwork, runners and occasional dunks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2990408' first='Bronson' last='Stringfellow'] Thatcher

A newcomer for me is a strong framed shooting guard/wing. He can create his own offense and hit shots from mid to the three point line. He rebounds well using his sturdy frame and he will be the go-to guy for the Eastern Arizona based HS.

[player_tooltip player_id='2990136' first='Jamari' last='Turrentine'] Marana

Another newcomer for me is a an athletic wing forward. He scores it and he can defend multiple positions from the 1-4 with quick feet and length. He will dunk the ball easily in transition and he can shoot the three off the catch or pull.

[player_tooltip player_id='2630596' first='Dalton' last='Yarmolovich'] Ironwood Ridge

A long wing forward with some size, athleticism and some skill to come with it. He has become more athletic in the last year and will dunk it easily on the break and score with offensive rebound put back with great timing. He is also unselfish with good passes up the court. He always plays the right way.
