Cameron is an elite shot maker at his size with incredible length and agility. He had one of the best shots at the event from outside the arc and the midrange area. With his size he can just rise above defenders and hit tough shots. His has a great handle and is able to get to the spots that make him effective. He makes his money on the defensive end with his versatility to guard almost every position. He moves quick laterally and uses his length to disrupt shots and even get multiple blocks a game. Cameron has elite wing potential at the next level and will be a force at duke.

6’11, 195 pounds — is a different type of problem. One of the most uncomfortable covers you’ll find, period. A legit three-level scorer that can create his own whenever he wants. Smooth off the bounce, lethal in the midrange, and he shoots the three at a high level — especially off the catch, where he makes you pay instantly.
What makes him scary is the guard skillset at that size. He handles, changes pace, and gets to his spots with ease. In transition, he’s a force. In space, he’s downhill and tough to keep in front. Add in his ability to play above the rim as a lob threat, and it’s just mismatch after mismatch.

There’s a clear reason why this player is the top prospect in Arizona. At nearly 7’0, his ability to handle the ball and execute a variety of moves inside to create space is truly impressive. Williams is a force to be reckoned with off the ball, drawing multiple defenders. Even when they provide adequate help, his court awareness and instincts allow him to consistently find the right position at the right time, using his length to score effectively in the paint. His impressive court speed is also noteworthy; he’s a dynamic forward who attacks the basket with great pace.

The versatile forward was as advertised in this contest. On offense, he scored from a variety of spots on the floor. He showed a back-to-the-basket game as well as a face-up game. At times, he got the rebound, brought the ball upcourt, and initiated the offense. On defense, he protected the rim, blocking or altering multiple shots.

Cam put on a show in his senior year debut scoring from all over. He hit deep three’s, Pull up mid range jumpers that seem impossible to block let alone contest. Cam drove to lane and finished through traffic with two hand dunks. Cam played the passing lanes really well and got multiple steals. He set the tone for St. Mary’s and showed why he is the real deal. Cam finished with 31 points, 9 rebounds, 6 steals, 2 assist and 1 block.

One of my favorite players to watch at Team USA Minicamp in October, Williams is a prospect who continues to improve and use his tremendous physical tools for production. Celebrating his birthday yesterday, Williams has a final three schools announced of Duke, Texas and Arizona. Any of these programs would immediately benefit from what Williams brings physically in the frontcourt.
