Expert Analysis
Aaron Villa | Prep Hoops Scout
Ben is a strong frame forward that can score a little bit from every where. Ben uses his size to his advantage and will create mismatches to score on smaller players in the paint. He is a capable floor stretcher and will hit the catch and shoot three. Ben has a great motor when it comes to rebounding and protecting the paint. He uses his size and strength to guard taller players and out rebound them. He is an overall high IQ player that plays within him self.

A dark horse candidate for 3A South Player of the Year and my current favorite for the region Defensive Player of the Year. Lambe has been dominant in the post against any caliber of team the Lions have faced. He currently is averaging a double double with 12.2 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. Lambe leads the state in blocks per game with 3.2. One of the top players at his position in Southern Arizona. Can space the floor well with his ability to shoot from outside. A play maker on both sides of the ball.

Lambe as been one of the top if not the top rebounders in all of Southern Arizona so far this season. His shot blocking ability also makes him one of the top post defenders as well. I unofficially had him for 13 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks in this matchup. He had some big momentum shifting blocks late in the game that game the Lions a much needed spark. Scores well in the post and helps space the floor with his three point ability. A highly under recruited player who is a difference make on the floor. He is currently second in the state in blocks per game with 3.2 and that puts him 77th nationally and currently averages 12.1 points and 10.6 rebounds per game.

Lambe is a strong, physical forward who simply out hustles his opponents. Hes a big reason the Lions are 9-2 overall and 5-1 in PowerPoint games. Lambe is averaging a double double on the season with 10.7 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. He’s adding 2.0 assists, 1.9 steals and 3 blocks per game. He’s playing very dominant in the post. Attacks the boards with purpose getting his team extra possessions. The Lions have their eyes set on winning a consecutive state championship and do do so they’ll need Lambe to continue to have a strong season.
