The smooth athletic forward is primed for his biggest season with City College as they look to compete for another state championship. Camari was electric at times with his scoring outbursts, having multiple stretches of baskets of any kind. Created space and open shots for himself with the most ease and consistency I've seen from him in a while. Really came away impressed with his hard work and positive production each game. Some games called for his scoring and ability to create offense. Other games allowed him to showcase his value on the floor as a gritty defender and rebounder. His consistent tough-shot making stood out to me. Once Joseph drilled a few open three-pointers and the defenders closed in, he was able to put the ball on the floor and keep his head up to find a better opportunity. Seemed to make the right play in most scenarios and played with a level of maturity that caught our scouts eyes. Deadly shooter from the perimeter that shows willingness to take a dribble or two and spot back up closer inside. He was shifty with the ball and created an uncomfortable feel for his matchups all event long. Had a few nice plays in the midrange creating for himself off the dribble in tight spaces. Tahkari has a slight twitch in his dribble that shook off the defender more times then not. Did a solid job of communicating out to his teammates to help produce wins. It was clear that Blaine knew what to do with the ball in his hands, even when he wasn't scoring his own shots. Blaine picked up plenty of assists and focused on creating the best shot possible for the team by getting into the right positions and keeping his head up for openings. Used his frame well as a bigger guard that can get downhill and also knock down the 3.
