CBG Under Radar Prospects Part 1 (Class of 2026)

The CBG JUCO-PREP-HS took place this past weekend. Let's look at a group of prospects that have flown under the radar in a two-part report. These individuals may not be widely recognized yet, but they have delivered strong performances that set them apart. Their impressive displays suggest significant potential and warrant closer observation moving forward.    First time seeing the post-grad prospect Rashuad play. He establishes himself as one of the most versatile and intriguing prospects in the CBG event. His combination of size, strength, and skill allows him to impact the game in a variety of ways. Defensively, he guards multiple positions with ease and uses his frame to disrupt plays. Offensively, Rashuad's ability to attack downhill and make reads off the dribble stands out—he can finish with either hand athletically/crowd pleasing fashion, absorb contact, and consistently make plays for others. His motor and confidence are trending upward, and it's clear he's prospects to monitor throughout this season. Definite college level prospects.     Bryton continues to show flashes of a high-ceiling prospect that could become a major name in the DVM area playing in the prestigious WCAC league. With his size, length, and advanced offensive polish, Bryton already stands out as a natural scorer. He has a smooth shooting stroke from the perimeter, can handle in transition, and uses his athleticism to attack closeouts and finish above the rim. His confidence continues to grow, and as he refines his handle and consistency, his stock will only rise. Barrett's combination of physical tools and offensive skill gives him the look of a future Division 1wing prospect.     He demonstrates strong proficiency in shooting from all three levels, with effectiveness from beyond the arc. Sean exhibits excellent movement without the ball and can score through skillful dribble penetration. Additionally, he displays understated athleticism as a finisher at the rim.     Mason brings significant value to his team on the court, consistently finding ways to make his impact felt. He is a reliable guard who makes great reads, displays vision and feel on the court, finds teammates, and can be an effective scoring option.  He is a strong creator off the bounce, finishes well attacking downhill, is a reliable shot-maker, and his presence on be felt in a big way on the defensive end.  Mason should once again bring tremendous value and leadership to The Potomac School this upcoming season.     Grey impact may not always be loud, but it's always felt. He plays a mature, efficient game — one built on making the right play and maximizing every possession. Grey can score from all three levels, using his smooth jumper and strong frame to get to his spots and finish at the rim. He's equally comfortable playing on or off the ball, showing the IQ to find open teammates and maintain the flow of the offense. Defensively, he competes with toughness and uses his positioning to limit opponents. Grey continues to be a steady riser whose complete skill set translates well to winning basketball.     Nick is a confident well-rounded scorer who consistently finds ways to produce, whether attacking off the dribble, finishing at the rim, or knocking down shots from the perimeter. Nick competes with toughness and energy on both ends of the floor, embracing defensive challenges while maintaining efficiency offensively. His versatility as a scorer, combined with his steady effort and competitive mindset, makes him a player that college coaches should be tracking more.     Tough undersize 6-6 player that played much bigger than his size. It is easy to see why Chase is one of the tough players in the WCAC league, and he continues to make strides in his game and add more to his arsenal.  When you watch him operate, Chase does an excellent job in being able to make plays in an array of ways, whether it is scoring and getting downhill, creating and dishing to teammates, or making plays on the defensive end. Love his overall feel and impact on the court.     Connor continues to be a name that pops up for me and brings intrigue to the court. He is one that has tremendous size at 6'8, moves really well all around the court, understands how to make plays around the basket, but also can show his ability to knock down shots from an array of levels. Tough matchup to have on the court and he will be interesting to watch as he continues to develop.
